    Scanner? Camera? But you'd miss an opportunity to revise ...

    There's nothing wrong with retyping stuff, especially after a long time. It gets your brain re-involved with your work.

    I compress my writing into an .rar file and upload it onto a filesharing website (with a registered account, of course, so I cannot simply lose the latest download link).

    That, and printing everything out.
