I've wanted to join a writers forum for a while now, and after lurking for about ten minutes I think I've found the perfect one! So hello, as you can see by the pen name I'm known as Ayla and I'm from merry old England! I've just turned 18 recently and will hopefully be moving up to Scotland for university in September to study Psychology, Religious Studies and Philosophy - I hope so anyway, I've got to get in first. I am a massive fan of Doctor Who and David Tennant and my favourite writer for the series has to be Steven Moffat - he's fantastic. I love to read and hopefully improve my ability to review and edit pieces of work, I feel that this is an important part of learning to write a good story because it helps you avoid mistakes that others have made and allows you to evolve as you incorporate that you've read to enrich your own writing style. I tend to read a lot more genres than I do write about. This is because whilst I feel most comfortable writing a fantasy story, I enjoy reading anything from classics and romance to supernatural novellas to manga books. So hopefully I'll be able to stay out of my shell long enough to review and enjoy my time here, and I hope I'll be around for a while!
