Is this scene ridiculous or believable to you?

I decided to go this route as my world is leaning in the absurd area where there are powers involve (although it is minimal compare to hulk- just simple genetic enhancement).

 

Since it's comedy, maybe the reader is willing to make some concessions, much like when Daffy Duck gets shot in the head with a shotgun and all that does is turn his head upside down.

I don't know how much into this side of comedy your story is, but comedy can be flexible.

I would imagine getting the man to stumble on something and falling, as he ran to catch the kid, and then getting the kid surviving by falling softly on the man's back to be an excusable comedic turn of events.

 

When it's a comedy, I just switch my critical brain off and be amused at the hilarity and absurdity. So go forth and unleash the insanity.
