My ex could put away a lot of alcohol, and never show a sign until shortly before the point of passing out. She'd get loud and start repeating herself, then Zzzzzzzzz...

She used to claim that one of her other personalities took all the effects of the booze (or medications for that matter).

My dad can hold his liquor. After a hard day at work dealing with 200 nineteen year old soldiers with little or no maturity my dad loves to come home sit on the couch pop oen a Samuel Adams or a Bud and relax. I've seen him go through an entire six pack on occasion and he's perfectly fine and acting normal. The only ime my dad ever gets roudy drunk is when his brother is around. When his brothers around things can get a little wacky.

EDIT: When his brothers around they're wacky whether their drunk or not (Darn Democrate and Republican family splits :p)

I've met people like that. I knew a guy once who could pound back seven or eight beers, and he wouldn't even feel it. He was six foot twenty and weighed a great deal though...

Now now Raven... she's just trying to please you with lovely donuts don't be so horrible!

I never drink to the point where i'm drunk - it would cost me far too much!! But, when I do drink I tend to find that I stay quite cheerful and just find it easier to socialise as i'm usually quite shy. Although, on occasion i have cried about random things but its usually something i've bottled up and just see no reason to any more.

Raven does she deep fry them or bake the cake type.
if deep frying your house must smell like a doughnut shop.
Have her toss in potatoes and make chips or french fries for a change of taste.

Personally, I don't particularly care for donuts. I'll occasionally partake, but usually just wave them away.

My preferred toroid is the bagel, especially a grilled bagel (egg, sesame, or poppy seed) with cream cheese and chives or smoked salmon. Don't give me a springy supermarket bagel, either! I'll take one that gives your jaw a good workout, dense and chewy with a shiny bronzed glaze that only comes from boiling the bagel before baking it.

Which makes me ponder...what is the difference between donuts and doughnuts?

Which after typing in a spell-check for English U.S., I tend to understand. :p

Go get a Cinnamon Raisin bagel, toast it, and enjoy. You won't be put off any longer.

Heathen! If you want sweetened bagels, you may as well resort to donuts a couple days old!

Pumpernickel bagels are good, and so are onion bagels, but I still prefer the golden egg bagel or one of the seeded varieties. And no fruited cream cheese, either!

    Don't care for doughnuts.
    Love bagels,
    Love english muffins
But really really love those big soft pretzels hot from the stand and covered in crystal salt.
wish I could get some here.

Heathen?! I've been eating cinnamon raisin bagels since day one! They're so good. Kit, you could try an everything flavored bagel. Those are good too.

just got groceries and got 6 all dressed bagels and 6 sesame seed bagels and 24 english muffins extra crispy.
toasted all dressed bagel with butter and tomatoes are really good for breakfast.
they also make great hamburger buns although you have to seal the holes with lettuce or cheese.
