I know, a bit off-topic. But so sad.
I was ten when The Monkees first aired. It was such an innocent time, before puberty and teen angst and growing up... I still remember the words to most of their songs.
Sad, in more ways than one...
Here's me thinking Davy Jones was a Pirates of the Caribbean villain

On the original topic, I was never much of a fan of the "Prefab Four", but Jones' early passing is still sad and somewhat of a surprise..
Especially if your somebody from the past generation, when your'e a parent who grew up with these guys since they were teenagers themselves.
