    Just a point for clarity...

    FTL = Faster than Light

    Perhaps it would fit better if you said: SoL (Speed of Light)?

    But then again, SOL is kind of being used.

    Actually it is a bit confusing since I think Shadowfax was referencing the Cornell link I included which really wasn't a good reference for this thread. The article was a bit unclear at just how fast things were moving, described more about how the expansion is still accelerating - if I understood correctly, which is mind boggling in itself, but it would not be a non-sequitur to conclude that at some point in time and place, things are moving faster than light by simple extrapolation. My only real point was that light-speed sounded like some fixed number such as 60mph, down under (sorry up over, thinking you were Oscar) I guess that is 75kph, where as the expression speed of light is more of a general reference to my way of thinking.

    BTW, I like microgravity much better than zero gravity, by coincidence it came up in the comics just recently too and I was not familiar with the term although I probably saw it before.

    60 mph seems to have slowed down a bit on its way down under...over here, 60 mph more or less equates to 100 kph!

    Oh I measure my speed in minutes of longitude so it varies on latitude. :)

    Sorry about that. Thinking 5/4 faster by mistake.

    Um, if they're referred to as them, doesn't make them agender and therefore not a woman?
