Sleepers Sleepers, assassins, contract killers, they’re all the same and you’re one of them. Whether you’re a veteran killer or just starting out, your services are in high demand. Valkyrie Aeronautics (VA) and the Brutus-Booth Syndicate (BBS), two organizations at odds with each other, will be seeking your abilities (if you prove yourself adept in the art of killing) in an effort to gain the upper hand over the other. How It Works To start out, you’re most likely freelance or apart of a smaller agency (no SIS or CIA, etc. keep it simple). If your kills are impressive enough, VA or BBS will contact you for a job. If you successfully complete the job to specification (someone’s always watching), you might be offered a stay with that organization. As the missions’ progress and recruits are snatched up, people will find themselves teamed together for more complex missions. Additionally, both agencies might end up targeting the same person or same groups. Hopefully you kill the target before the other side does. Your targets are not random, and they must be eliminated. Do not ask questions about your targets, the head honchos don’t like people who ask questions. Stay Alive This much is simple. Your profession is very dangerous, and not everyone lives to see the daylight. Assassins that sit still for too long might find themselves as targets. Assassins that ask too many questions might find themselves disavowed and outed for the other agency to target. Weapon Choice As this is modern day, your weapons should reflect that (no phazers, beam swords, etc.). Make your choice carefully, as your weapons factor into whether or not you’re offered a job. Standard Rules Apply 1. Always communicate with other players when entering into a conflict with them. 2. No perfects and no Godplex. If your character makes it through without a scratch, you’ve done something wrong. 3. Your posts that reflect assassinations should be more than: “X snuck into the compound at night. He came up behind Mr. T and snapped his neck. X snuck back out, undetected.” Not only is that non-descriptive, but it’s also really boring. 4. Don’t join unless you intend to participate. 5. GM has final say.
