So...who's ready for the fourth of July?

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by CDRW, Jul 3, 2008.

I'm stoked, if for no other reason than that I don't have to go to work tomorrow. Then there's the fireworks, food, celebration ect. Do you (americans, or those others who care) have any plans for the holiday weekend?

Never mind the fourth. The fifth is the important date!

I'll mostly be on the road on the 4th. We'll be celebrating it on the 5th.

(Beats traffic, and we still get fireworks Friday night) :D

I'm near an Indian Reservation right now here in Seattle, so I'll be celebrating it right with fireworks. :D

I'll be marching in the hot hot heat today, carryin' a ginormous bass drum.
It's fun, though. Fun in a way that is extremely painful for your shoulders.

-Yay for parades and all things Fourth of July.

I love fireworks! Indulge the pyromaniac within. And beware the tricky cannons that like to fall over. hehehe. Good times.

I just got back from a parade, and it was awsome! They threw otter pops! Of course there were stupid people there as well. They had a five gallon bucket and were soaking people in the parade, including a lady with a really expensive looking camera, and one of the olympic mascots. I can't imagine what that suit costs to repair, not to mention how heavy it's gotta be after getting soaked.
