He can't get tired. Didn't you hear me about going at lightspeed? Mass can't go that fast! There is something called the Speed Force that powers speedsters, so he doesn't get tired and stuff. Also, speedsteers have their own personification of death because they're so fast they can outrun regularDeath (which happens to be a +millenia old goth teenager. She's also quite cheery). That link was gold. I'm looking to see if he has more. About superman, I don't think the movies are canon.
Yeah what I also liked about Static is that his accomplishments are all centralized around one power which leads into various effects like magnetism, static clings, power charging electrical devices. Did you see that episode where he took on the Justice League? I think his sidekick was possessed by Braniac and he set mind control devices on Static and the Justice League, but Static was unaffected because his body contains a high current of electricity and blew it out. I don't understand though why he wasn't affected in that episode where he fought that preppy girl who could control people's minds.
My favorite Static Shock moment was when he created an e.m. pulse to take out those helicopter robot things, and also fried just about ever electrical device on that block. As for overpowered people, my vote would have to be Doomsday. The dude killed superman with his bare hands.
i like Thor... his dialogue cracked me up as a kid... and there was nothing that could be done about it, because he would thrash nearly anyone he was matched with...
Superman got resurrected... somehow, I'm not entirely sure how that happened, but then he managed to trap Doomsday in that demision where they put a lot of the worst villians in.
she was coo... solid, ya dig?... never spectacular, but she had her appeal... she almost has a cult following...
I always thought that dimension must get crowded after a while...or that the villains would end up wiping themselves out from bickering. But maybe they're all in suspended animation or something like that. *shrug* Alternate dimensions do seem to be more secure than the crappy security nightmare that is Arkham. Seriously...they need to replace the revolving door.
i like to think they'll find a way to kill Superman... only when they do it, they realize they got Superboy... win/win...
Remember that time Superboy rewrote all realities by punching a wall in paradise really hard? Good times. Man, sometimes I don't know why I keep reading DC. >.<
i know the feeling... i still like Batman tho, of course... but everybody's been talking about Batman already...
i never really cared for superman, and now all of you guys are talking about him so now i regret it... my favorite static shock episode was when he went back in time to stop his mom from dying because she died when he was a little boy.
static shock was weird to me, cuz i saw the show first... and the show was crappy and kiddy, but the comic was so much better...
crappy? It wasn't anything of the such and doubt the kiddy either with the themes of racism, drugs, the hood, and gang violence in the show. They really need to reboot it if not on television then back to comics again.
definitely comics... that show was like a cheesier captain planet... i mean the themes tried to separate it from other cartoons, but it didn't hit for me... at first, i watched it cuz he was a black superhero, and we're not that well represented with heroes... then eventually, i just watched it cuz it came on before batman beyond... but the comic was dope as hell... if the show comes back, they need to revamp... better artists, better writing...
i wonder if Hellboy should be considered a superhero, you know, almost indestructible, he's not normal, he heals quickly etc.
