    Mmmm cookies.

    I posted in the 'success stories' forum that I found out about a writing contest win today. In addition, I've also found out that the law firm I work for wants to make me a partner as of the first of the new year. So good news abounds today, looks like :)

    I'm floating around in my new heated in-ground pool, w/ my sweetie, music and wine, in mid-december and kinda wondering when i got so damned lucky.

    Even though my social life has been lacking lately, I am being very productive with my creative projects.

    Also, it's my birthday today and my friend bought me a new DSLR camera I have been wanting for so long!

    My trainer is back from hospital and the beasting is everything it should be! Can hardly wait until his rehab is completed - he promised that he'd join us in the workouts :cheerleader:Hell, that'll be something to behold then :cheerleader:

    I DID IT! I DID IT! I FINALLY GOT THE PERFECT SCORE ON THE CHOCOBO RACE IN FFX!

    To those who don't know, it's hard as shit. I've been working on it for days, and I FINALLY FUCKING DID IT.

    I think I'm more proud of this moment than when I finished my first draft.

    Just so you don't get broken in the process - moose's top tip if you are going to hit someone with a back fist to the side of the jaw use your left hand , that way when you break your fingers you'll still be able to type.

    Don't be daft you have to actually go on dates and in fact sleep with people to get an STD, this is a sad loser who loses his nerve and stands girls up for no reason. The only reason he'll be going to the docs anytime soon is for repetitive strain injury in his right arm:eek:

    Yes - although to be fair that was in a fight, not whilst sparring. In general its good to avoid hitting people in the harder parts of their anatomy with your knuckles on either hand .

    My mom has been in a better mood lately. She's keeping herself occupied with baking fudge and cookies.

    also she's been buying presents for " poor unfortunate souls " as she calls them. Had to go to another town just to find a kid in need because our town is apparently taken care of. She bought them everything on their wish list and a couple extras. I had to go with her to be the bag man, and help her find a copy of madden 17 for Xbox 360. My knowledge of video games is very rarely used in a helpful way.

    I'm on my way out for dip in my new heated pool, stopping to gather the iPod and wine. Surprise warm days in December are luscious. :)

    I am loving the Holiday season this year. I decorated my apartment last night putting multi color lights everywhere. I even put up a fake fireplace to hang stockings over it. The best thing about it is I never need firewood. And now I can drink my hot cocoa next to a fire...sort of.

    I've decided that after my lease ends I will be doing 6 months of travel with my camera and something to write with. Going after my creative dreams is the best feeling in the world.
