I like the English word "sequoia" and the Spanish word "murciƩlago" because they contain each of the five vowels exactly once.

EDIT: I heard the word "sequoia" the other day which made me think of this, but I actually never realized just how many English words have that property until I did some googling. For example, "facetiously" has them in order, including "y" if you count that as a vowel. And there are some other Spanish words like it, too, e.g. "abuelo". My teacher was wrong when she said "murciƩlago" was the only Spanish word with that property. :bigeek:

I like "ch" words like chocolate and church. Chocolate is doubly nice because of the hard c in the middle. And triply nice when you consider the taste. :)

Rock. It's versatile and powerful, a verb and a noun with multiple meanings in each context.

I've always loved the word "clear." I think it's because it doesn't require much in terms of movement from your mouth, but still has a variety of sounds. It also feels like starts in the back of the throat, moves forward to the teeth, and goes back again.

Nullify, Exacerbate, Imagine; and Yup, Yep, Yelp, Yellow, and Yahoo. I don't have a favorite word, but I do find that words appear strange the longer I think about them.

Kind of quirky and out there almost a word (hey it's on urbandictionary) but not quite. Love the kookiness of it.

I would have to say that my favorite word is "wager." I just like the way it sounds. A close second would be "dedo," the Spanish word for finger. It's fun to say and makes me think of the Pokemon called Diddo.

Honestly, I really like the word: Schizophrenic. It's just really cool sounding, it's long and has an unusual spelling compared to your normal generic words. I thinks so anyway.

'Water' said by a man from Lincolnshire. To replicate one must grin through 'Waa,' then give hard 't.' The 'er' is irrelevant.

Heard first time is really impressive -

'I say old boy, I love the way you speak.'

'Funny fella, you mean watttre? Suppose you say worta...okay cheerio, see you next time.'

    ..

    Americans are all wadda, eh..

    Can we have names/titles/proper nouns?

I had reason to write this in a post recently. Don't know if it's the font, but I was struck my how good it looked.
