Novel Which do you do first, the name of the chapter or the chapter it self?

    Gothic VQ, if you do it for you and it makes the process fun, do it. The Novel Police won't swarm in to arrest you. ;)

    sure, it can... but since adult novels usually don't, you and your work may not be taken seriously if yours does and you don't have a good reason for it...

    I do name chapters before I write them in detail but after I'm done with creating the entire story. I also make sure I don't give anything out in their names.
    On a side note, I've noticed people very often worry about things related to writing which should be entirely up to them - this topic being an example. Basically the only thing you should really follow is grammar. Everything else is basically up to your writing personality.
