A fabulous thing

  1. Have you ever stopped to realise how great it is when someone takes a minute or two out of their day to say, or do, something nice? Not for any reason other than because they can? Or because they understand?
    Yesterday I wrote my first ever blog and today I had two comments from writers who took a few minutes out of their day to say something nice to me, a stranger, someone who has no connection to their own lives other than that one blog. Thank you. I try to do the same - a quick hello on a newbie post, a congrats on an acheivement. It may not make any difference to the achievement or to the new persons view of the site but then again, you never know, it might. ;)

    Something I've noticed when I'm out taking a walk is that if you smile, other people tend to smile back. A nod here, a "nice day" there.
    A smile is infectious, and is something well worth spreading around.

    Not really sure if that has anything to do with what you just said, but it's what came to mind. Also, if this comment does seem a little odd and out of place, I blame the cat that decided to climb on top of my monitor while I was typing...
