So... it's not everyday you get to witness a fender bender right before your eyes, assuming you are paying attention to the cars involved instead of the road. For some reason the traffic on the road was pretty thick to day, I usually wait till 10 a on my day off to get gas, because by then most people are at work... or so goes the theory of it. But not to day.... So as I am approaching the place I need to be, the car in front of me decides to let a person turning left go. Not so much of a big deal except she is obstructing traffic since the traffic before her is moving, so I give a tap on my horn. But the guy turning left goes, none the less. which is fine... however, in the lane next to us, what I missed was the Car coming from behind me, not noticing the break between the Car in front of me and the moving traffic. The Left Turn Guy (LTF) makes his turn, clearly not taking caution to make sure the person in the next lane notices him and comes to a stop, while the Right Lane Woman (RLW) clearly doesn't noticed and the two headed into an impact, thankfully bumper to bumper. So it could have been worse. He pulls into the driveway, while she pulls to the side and I drove on as they did what every they needed to do. But the worst part is, I have a camera mount for my phone, and I didn't have my camera on, i mean how often does one get to capture an accident on video. Damn. By the time I was done with Gasing Up and car wash they were already gone. I did turn on my Camera afterwards but the drive home was nice and peaceful. Damn. So moral of the story, have your damn camera turned on... Uh, I mean beware of other drivers and pay attention to what your fucking doing. Edit: And thankfully it wasn't my Betty (That's my Yukon), After years of neglecting proper maintenance , I spent a fortune to get her up to speed, I do not need an incident to happen to her.
