Martial Law and Bombings to follow

  1. For those who haven't yet heard a rant about my country from me, look at my location. Pakistan has had unstable politics for a while now, and for the fun part it isn't improving.
The country has been put on emergency, and the news channels from ALL OVER THE WORLD including local channels have been cut off. News Websites (at least local ones...we haven't bothered checking whether our IP is no longer accessing the international ones...) have been brought down and the only news we get is through secondary websites with limited news. That too, only people of the upper middle and elite class - the others used to rely on TV, newspapers, or word of mouth. Of the upper middle and elite class too, who became rich by education and hard work, not corrupting activities - and is interested to read the news. Which shouldn't be more than 5 %.

So yeah, I don't want to see the newspapers being cut off, which at the moment are completely controlled by the government, and perhaps a few bombings here and there. But somehow, even not wanting this doesn't help. Because it inevitable. I don't know if I go to school tomorrow and a bomb blows up, and when my parents question the government, he'll be like, 'Terrorists did it!'. Oh God question him. Blaming innocent people who simply want to devote themselves to God and being the actual terrorist. I'm not talking about Afghanis, I'm talking about simple religious students who don't even know what a gun is. I've met many and it hurts to see them being blamed by Musharraf, and even that George Bush, just because they don't want to be caught doing something worse. I know there are Muslims terrorists, but they're not worse than these politicians. And the only reason they exist is false education or none at all. Anyways, drifting away from the point.

So yeah, this is a rant praying that I live to see the end of emergency in my country (without being raped, deprived of housing and education or kidnapped) and hoping that the innocent lives of the people are not too badly affected. And that some lucky day Pakistan can come clean as well as other Muslim nations where there is no proper law and order and thus Islam is simply terrorism thanks to the ever-irritating media.

I'd buy that bookbag. That would be awesome and handy.
