Sacrifice

  1. My time here is about to be severely curtailed. The rent at my new place is just over double what I'm currently paying, which while it sounds like a huge jump on paper, I have to keep telling myself it's only that way because I'm paying an absolute pittance on my current flat. Nevertheless it means something has to go, and at around £70 a month that thing is my broadband and phone line.

    I still have a good deal on my mobile, as far as data goes, so I'll post occasionally, but mobile internetting has always been a last resort for me so I'll be posting far less of my drivel from the 20th.

    Probably, yes, and I suppose now would be the ideal time to look. But I'm sure you know yourself what a pain in the arse these things are, despite the assurances from those trying to sell you their goods that it will be 'hassle-free'. These switch-overs are never hassle-free and right now I don't need extra hassle.

    Maybe when I'm settled in I'll look at getting hooked up again, but I'll be in no rush. I don't stream movies, I don't social network, I don't use Netflix etc, and I can shop on my phone.
