Cayce Berryman

Like most of you here, I'm a writer. I'm always learning my craft, but I'm more than willing to share what I know.

I'm also an independent editor who started my career in journalism. While earning my associate in journalism, I earned my bachelor's in creative writing and English. Now, I'm earning an editing certificate from the University of Chicago. I can't stop. I love it all. I've edited for a college newspaper and for Journal Media Group's seven newspapers.

I started and continue to run an interactive Facebook group, Authors’ Tale, which serves as a supportive platform for budding writers and published authors, as well as a “writer’s gym” where the creative and curious mind can continue to learn. I believe that every writer’s voice is important, and every voice is worth hearing. That’s why our group functions under the philosophy “Write and surprise others, but keep learning and surprise yourself.”

I have continued to seek other writers who share my philosophy, and by doing that, I've learned so much more. I've taught more. And I continue to seek those opportunities and relationships. I'm excited to be here, and I look forward to meeting you!
