Hi,

I'm passionate about lateral thinking ... something I've gradually picked up over the past 35 years working in the media and advertising industries (Australia and UK).

My writing ambition is to bring the awesome creativity of lateral thinking to life through writing fiction that explores the alien question.

I feel like I've entered the publishing industry at a time of great upheaval. The advent of self-publishing seems to have "lowered the bar". The path to traditional publishing seems to be more about "who you are" than "what you've written".

The reason I'm here is to gain insights into how things happen.

If anybody is actually keen enough to know more about me, I have an "about" page that goes on for way tooooo long LOL.

I actually don't know any other authors. I live about 50 kilometers from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It's beautiful, but isolated. Perfect for writing, but possibly not the best location for networking. I'm genuinely hoping to strike up some online friendships with other writers, share the journey, and pick up some ideas along the way.
