Just discovered a fabulous FREE site, devoted to creativity, writing, and all sorts of good stuff. A friend sent it to me, and I'm impressed by the quality and depth on offer. The weekly newsletter, which appears on Sundays, is free, and all you need to do to subscribe is send them your email and name. Great stuff.
Along with bits of advice on how to be productive as a writer, this Sunday's newsletter contained a long piece by Stanley L Delaney on the difference between good writing and talented writing. It also contained advice from Calvin and Hobbs' creator, Bill Watterson, which was not specific to cartooning, but covered the entire spectrum of how to be creative and what to expect when you are financially successful with what you create.
Anyway, here's the link: www.brainpickings.org
