Yesterday we broke 1,000,000 posts!! It's been just over seven years, but we've exceeded 1,000,000 posts, and 55,000 threads. We've come a long way from the early days. I just want to say thank you to everyone. I have big hopes and plans for the future of www.writingforums.org, and it's been my privilege to help run this writing community. Thank you to all our moderators, past and present, our contributors and senior members, or supporters, our volunteers, and everyone who's ever contributed to our community. Keep an eye out, our biggest writing contest yet will be announced soon.
Oh wow, so that is what the site looked like back in the day. I still remember what it was like when I first joined, and ... my god. Daniel, you've put a lot of time into this place, well done and thank you!
I've only been a forum member since March this year, but I love it. This has been a great experience for me, getting to know you all, exchanging views, doing and receiving critiques, reading what people write, etc. I am so impressed by the way this forum is run. You allow plenty of freedom, but don't let anything or anybody ruin the experience either. So ...many congratulations for your past efforts, and best wishes for the good days to come.
