Not sure what the attraction is about the Triple Crown, but it's a fun distraction. In this case the owners are 2 middle class guys from California and that's a nice touch.

Did the horses secretly form a union and say amongst themselves, "From now on, no single horse shall win all the glory! We will share it around henceforth!" 'Cause if they did, that would be kinda cool. )

 

Dammit! I had that game recorded. Nothing to look forward to after work now.

 

It did cross my mind that with all the bets placed on CA Chrome to win, there was some motivation to bribe that jockey to lose.
