1. What is your age? 2. What genre do you write? 3. Do you see yourself becoming famous, or well-known, in the publishing world? How long do you think it will take--approximately how much more time do you need to get there? Estimate.
1. 22 2. Science fiction. 3. I can see myself becoming famous, but hey, I can see myself playing in the NHL or being a professional snowboarder. That doesn't mean its ever going to happen. I think realistically I can become "famous" within a small part of the publishing world, maybe locally. I think if I was to get serious about becoming famous it will take around five years... but I don't really know. My goal right now is to publish one book. Who knows where I'll go from there?
47 Fantasy, first one is a contemporary, the one I'm working on now would be sword and sorcery. I hope so but I havn't got a clue how long it will take. I've got my first manuscript with an editor now and I should be hearing soon. (I hope) Wish I'd discoverd i liked writing earlier in life, Mike
17. Horror. It is up the top of my list of things to happen, so I try to work hard to achieve the goal. At the moment that means finishing off my current novel and finding an agent.
1. Out of College. 2. Science fiction, fantasy, general fiction and some just speculative fiction. 3. I can see it, of course. Will I ever get there? Perhaps not. Dreams are meant to be broken. Today there seems to be a glut of people vying for any position. I don't know if I'm vicious enough.
1) Old. 2) Mostly poetry. 3) I'm not going to be famous. But I am having fun with writing and submitting.
1. I still go to school. 2. Detective fiction with elements of horror and thriller. 3. I'd love to become famous, but I couldn't picture it. I'd love to get my latest work published; it should be finished by the end of summer. I shall be truly honoured if I ever become famous.
Age: Dropbears never age.... (23) Genre: Fantasy, mainly vampire supernatural stuff. I wanna write romance too but I hate sounding corny. Future?: I would love to be published... even tv series made! hahaha! but hey, anything can happen and I'm still young enough. I do see something published though, but I think I'm just being hopeful!

1. What is your age? - 33 2. What genre do you write? - Fantasy 3. Do you see yourself becoming famous, or well-known, in the publishing world? How long do you think it will take--approximately how much more time do you need to get there? Estimate. - Gee, that'd be pretty good wouldn't it? I'd like to see that happen, and I'd like to think I'm good enough. How long is it going to take? I'm patient, so I don't care how long it takes. Also, I get paid pretty well at the moment, so I'm ok on that front too.
1) 25, 26 on the twenty-first 2) Anything my mind comes up with. Although I won't write pure romance. Romance is good but only as a sub plot. Right now I'm mostly writing dark stuff, with a leaning towards horror. 3) Yes. I plan on having short stories published by the end of the year. And hopefully a novel from a nation wide (or larger) publisher before I'm 35. With at least one or more published novels a year after that. My dreams don't do small.
46 Non-specific. I experiment a lot. I might try writing some science fiction this year. No. It'd be nice to have some kind of success, but famous? It's most unlikely. Cheers, Rob
25 (26 on the 28th Jan) Chick Lit/Women's Lit Published yes, famous no. If I ever get published I'll be using a pseudonym. Fingers crossed within 5 years I hope to have done something with my writing.
No. I'm curious why you ask. I've not written any horror and haven't read any for many years, though I've recently bought 4 horror anthologies to become more familar with the genre. Cheers, Rob
