LOL. All part of the plan! Actually, no. I selected the avvy almost at random to match my concept of my username. Now Raito has become my look-alike and also my favorite character in my favorite manga. lol.
Nah, the Intruders are the people who came with Clarke along with the others, but then got cold feet when they found dead base personnel. The group splits -- some want to leave, some remain loyal to Clarke. Clarke shoots at the ones who don't stay loyal to him and they flee to another side of the base (these are the players). The ones who do stay loyal to him are NPCs (i.e. the bad guys) The survivors are members of the base staff that survived whatever it was that killed the others. There's two that are playable: a scientist and a security guard. One meets up with the soldiers, one meets up with the intruders. There's probably a less confusing way to explain it, but I'm rushing.
I have removed all posts that have claimed a spot or put up a profile. The game will be released on the 18/11/08 Its the same rule for all games.
Hey Emerald, I'm guessing that the soldiers have a map of the place, but do the intruders also have a map or possible know the layout of the base? Or do the intruders just sort of wonder around aimlessly while trying not to die?
I would imagine both groups would have a fairly thorough knowledge of their mission area. Even if the intruders are without a map, each of them probably would have studied the place quite thoroughly, and so would have a vague idea of what's where. But that's just my guess.
I'm terrible at maps... so I guess my character will be as well No but seriously, I'm terrible. If I try to get to Amsterdam, I end up in France (realy happened actually). How much should I study the map?
Teele's got it. Clarke's fairly-well connected, and he managed to swipe some maps which all the terrorists/intruders have studied. Of course, that doesn't show the inside of the buildings -- just where they are. And to answer a question which I missed earlier, "No Eyes Jack" could be a nickname for a character, but as a soldier it would probably come up more in passing.
It has this ring, No Eyes Jack makes him sound tough. They call him No Eyes Jack, cause he can shoot down an enemy without looking. <---is that okay with you though? There are some other freaky attributes, but I know they wouldn't work with your RPG. Freaky attributes that wouldn't work and trust me they wouldn't work: True No Eyes Jack[a character I made up and have had him stick with me for some time], really has no eyes just empty sockets. Real No Eyes Jack collects eyeballs from his enemies and uses them as his own eyes. Yes, he can see out of them.
ok, stupid question time... where do i find the info on "51"? y'all have read something i can't seem to find, but as soon as someone points it out, i'm sure i'll see it was right in front of me... ... gee... can you tell i've never done an RPG before? [/sarcasm]
Well his whole backstory is that he is some drug dealer living on the streets and he basically is a loon. But I'm not sure that would work for Emer's RPG. But he's cool.
Yay, I thought this thread had been deleted... Anyway, the RP's officially open for profile-posting. If you want to be a survivor, PM me. Or just state it in the thread.
lol really im just an English guy invading Scotland for uni but what better way to join the culture than start writing as one lol
LOL. I'm not actually Scottish at all, though I can imitate the accent rather well. My ancestry is German on all sides.
