I know, I know... we have an alert for pretty much everything now. I have recieved some great props in the form of rep points from conciderate members of the forum, but I have been sometimes a little late in giving a thank you because I don't know when the rep points are given to me. I was raised to treat a thank you as a free gift which is priceless and I feel ookie when I find myself giving a thank you very much after the fact.
As far as I know there's no option for such an alert at this time, although I can see why it would be useful for many of our members. The best person to speak to about it would probably be Daniel.
