I may not be able to spell "Announcements" but perhaps you should move the "Site Information" section up to the top of the forum? That way, it's the first thing that users see when they enter, so that if something major happens, such as "All new posts must be in Swahili or they will be deleted," everyone will know about it. Of course, I'm not saying that all new posts should be in Swahili. For one thing, my Swahili is really, really poor.
Good idea, I think. I moved it to the top of the boards. Personally, I think it's out of place... I'll leave it there for a while and see how it goes, but it might end up going back to the bottom.
No real reason, I suppose. Perhaps just because that's how I'm used to it (suggestions/announcements) at the bottom.
Uh, well, thanks. I found it on the internet years ago in a "free .gif" page, and I've been using it for years. I use it nearly everywhere now.
