I am Maxwell, and recently I've taken an interest in writing because I have a keyboard and an active imagination. I had an idea bothering me through a day in school and told myself that if I could remember it the next day I'd install writing software. Four months later and I've been so secretive that nobody has read a single word to tell me if there is any quality in my writing, so I'm forcing myself onto a place where I can be semi-anonymous to figure out if I'm doing anything wrong.
Hi, Maxwell! Welcome to the forum! Please read the rules, participate, and have fun. An active imagination is a great start. A keyboard helps, too, provided it's attached to a computer running some kind of word processing software. If not, pen and paper will do - we're not particular. Fulfill the requirements stated in the rules, and we'll all be glad to look at your work and critique it. Prepare yourself .... Actually, we're not harsh. We're just honest. If that's what you want, you've come to the right forum!
@minstrel Thanks for the welcoming. By the time I meet the requirements it might take time to release something, as I'll either impulsively hit "submit" or stare at the button for an hour wondering if I should actually do it.
