    Any Clannad anime fans here?

Discussion in 'Entertainment' started by Duchess-Yukine-Suoh, Nov 3, 2013.

Has anybody here watched and finished Clannad? I have (twice) and IMO, it's one of the best animes ever! Even beyond the awesome storyline and the characters that were like family to me, the art and music were incredible! And I cried a lot. Tears of sadness and tears of happiness. MAJOR happy tears at the true end, when Tomoya and Nagisa and Ushio are having that picnic thing and all.

So, any other fans who I can talk about this with?

And here I thought we were going to be talking about ethereal Irish music from the 90's.

It has nothing to do with ethereal Irish music from the 90's,but it's still worth watching! It's about a teenage boy named Tomoya Okazaki. He's had a rough life and is quite unhappy. Then, one day, he meets Nagisa Furawaka. On that day, his life begins to change.....

It's perfect if you like romantic dramedy/slice of life with a touch of supernatural.

One of the things I love the most about it is it's inclusion of minor characters. Everybody has their own backstory and nobody is just a bland extra. You care about them all by the end.

Right behind you. No, really. Fine... Australia
While I am a bit of an otaku, I've yet to watch Clannad, the last few things I watched were Eden of the East and Shingeki. From what I've heard, Clannad is quite emotional.
