After several months of owning the book, I finally decided that I am a Discordian. I'm not just asking if anyone here is of the same belief, but if anyone else has read, heard of or wondered about this text and the culture that comes with it. Obviously I find it interesting. But what intrigues me the most is that its associated motifs and themes have been informing my writing for almost a year and a half - long before I actually read the book! These are aspects such as the number five, conspiracy theories, order and disorder, Eris, and her golden apple. Perhaps I skim-read the Wikipedia article a long time ago and forgot about it, hence why the symbology was on the fringes of my mind. I honestly don't know.
