UNLIKE! I didn't either but was nonetheless encouraged by the feedback. In fact most of it was good enough to make me wonder wtf happened. Oh well. I found this place and .com after that place and . . . both of these places are serving many MANY more needs than that place and . . . I doubt I'll be going back given the price for entry. Onward!
Hey @J.T. Woody There's quite a few people reacting to their feedback, with no shortage of histrionics. So in one of the threads, I posted some fake feedback that I said I received: ---------------------------------- Mine was a bit rough: WHAT THE JUDGES LIKED ABOUT YOUR STORY - {XXXX} I must admit I am having quite the struggle identifying anything positive to say here. Your protagonist seems like a nice guy? Unfortunately he is so poorly characterized and his objective so painfully absent that there isn't any space to care about it, or him. {YYYY} Some of the most positive things that can happen in a contest like this is one can realize "I'm not a writer after all." At least then you won't waste any more of your, or anyone else's time. {ZZZZ} Maybe it could be used to torture prisoners of war? Reading that godawful mess has to be worse than waterboarding, sleep deprivation, or even a direct and merciless beating. WHAT THE JUDGES FEEL NEEDS WORK - {XXXX} I really don't know where to start but . . . next time you write a story . . . there needs to be a story. {YYYY} Your decision-making prowess needs work. The one where you decide to write. Ever again. {ZZZZ} If you are going to try to sell this to the CIA to be weaponized and used at Guantanamo, simply keep going. Promise them you have a lot more where that came from and you'll be working Black Ops in no time. ----------------- Can't wait to see the reactions to this
@J.T. Woody: It's been up only about 30 minutes. Someone quoted the whole thing and said "That's just f*cking rude" and another quoted the whole thing and just said "ouch" I can't believe no one is debating the authenticity. They think it's real. I'm dying over here. And beginning to feel a bit guilty.
