So guys, this is totally unrelated to our game, but I'm a new Whovian, and I really want to re-watch the episode that introduced me to the fandom, but I can't find it D: I can find the episode before and the one after but not the one I want. btw, im still making that PM with King, so Lilith's reaction to Nyxx will have to wait until after. And as Vex is a plot char (only!) i think i will have fun making him seem like the most powerful creature other than the horsemen. Lilith will likely be sending him to fetch Nyxx and then go find the sword. Oh golly how will nyxx react to riding a dragon who is over... hm..... let's say two-hundred feet long? and very nasty tempered to boot.

Muhahahahahaha Death will definitely have fun with the challenges she's setting out for anyone who's game to quest for Raphael's sword ^^ Kitten [who plays Famine] isn't really active in this discussion thread but she is helping with ideas, and she's quite sadistic at times [and a Whovian!] so this will be awesome! I should probably reveal its enchantment sooner or later! It's a good one. It's actually a double enchantment, super super rare, and also one of the few enchanted items that magic users can touch. It will be a very difficult mission, but very worthwhile if you can pull it off. I will participate with Nyxx but in the interests of fairness he won't be eligible to 'win' the blade. Working in a team with someone will prove helpful... and that is the only hint I am going to give!
Traps, and other things ^^ challenges and the like. Challenge one is simply to locate the mansion. Two is to get to the first room without dying [traps!]. Three is to find the secret passage that leads the right way. And four is a combat challenge ^^ And there will be more, too!
I see one issue though, right now none of the characters are even aware of the mansion. Nor would they know where to look for it, or know why they should look there in the first place. I am assuming you will provide incentive through the plot but right now it would have to be coincidence if one of the chars stumbles into that house. What I mean is, the characters (afaik) aren't aware that there is an important mansion...

I might as well clue you in on something ^^ Hugo and Nyxx are the first seeds of something big. Like, really big. It won't come into fruition for a while, but Hugo's already starting to gather a bit of a group together. I don't say "they" because Nyxx is subordinate. The neutrals so far have sort of gravitated towards Hugo. This is for a reason, and will be fun and interesting. Alternatively, both sides of the war desperately want Raphael's Seraph blade. When Death goes into the city and uses Second Sight to summon truckloads of souls to announce that the game has begun, they might scramble to employ a skilled marksman...
