I'd go to the best restaurant I like and order the thing off the menu I always normally avoid because of the price, drink some beers while doing that. Give quick calls to family to say bye, and then spend the rest of the time playing with my cat. What do you normally get on your tacos?
I just get the meat, some beans, and cheese. I don't like lettuce, sour cream or anything! Piggybacking off of @Masked Mole's question, about what was your first kiss like, I will ask, how old were you when you had your first kiss?
It Wasn't Me by Shaggy... lol Old one, I know, but it came out right around the time I'd just found out my boyfriend cheated on me... So I wasn't a fan. And every time I hear it now, I go back to that time when I felt betrayed and helpless. What do you believe happens to us after death?
I don't believe in anything I can't know for certain is fact. Question for NON-UK members only. Can you identify the accents in this trailer? (no cheating!) Which, incidentally, is the greatest film ever made... in my head, at least.
The only one I can pinpoint, as with most Americans, I'm sure, is cockney. Lol. But I don't even really know the differences in the regions at all, so I might not be the best judge. What hairstyle was popular when you were a teenager?
Like ... spiky hair, or Matt Damon, Good Will Hunting curtain heads. Haha! If you could have one question answered, anything at all, what would you ask?
Is there life after death! lol Have you ever had an encounter with a ghost or seen a UFO? If so, what happened?
Curtain heads! That's the best description for that hair cut I've ever heard in my entire life. Hahahahaha. I do think there is life after death. The question is: do you believe in life after love? ETA: I didn't answer the part two of this question (cheating, @Lea`Brooks ). After my daughter was born, I was taking pictures of her, and there was a horizontal black line in every single picture I took that seemed to move in and out of the frame. But when I took a picture of anything else, the line was gone. I was taking them at an angle where there couldn't have been a shadow, and I placed objects in the spot she was in to take pictures of, in order to see if it was the angle. No line appeared, unless she was in the frame. I even moved to a different location of the house and took pictures of her, and the line was still there. Scared the crap out of me, especially since I had a touch of postpartum depression and was constantly worried that she was going to die in her sleep or something else terrible. A while later, I showed them to a friend who showed them to a client of her's who claims to be a medium. She got back to her a while later after she apparently "consulted" with a team she works with, and the general consensus was that these pictures happen when a distant loved one lingers because they felt like they missed out on something important, like a wedding, etc. The kicker: my uncle killed himself two months prior -- the medium had no clue. I didn't know her at all. I still have the pictures somewhere around here, if anyone wants to see them (PM).
Sounds creepy. Hmm, do I believe in life after love? Yes! Though I think finding someone you truly love is a rarity and some people going their whole lives looking for that special someone, I also think that there is a few of those 'special' people out there. So you just need to keep on searching. If you could choose to be any nationality besides your own, which one would you choose?
Interesting You couldn't be much further from the cockney accent, in geographical terms. Out of interest, where does the accent you thought was cockney occur in the clip?
Probably Indian or Native American. I've always wanted traditions and culture, of which my family have none, and both of those nationalities are full of them. Plus, they're often gorgeous, which would be a nice plus. What's your favorite scary movie/book?
Sitting in a baby seat in the middle of a sitting room, receiving a ball as a present from an uncle. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
DROP DEAD FRED!! I love you. lol A vet first, but then I realized I hated blood. So then an oceanographer. But then I watched the movie Sphere, whose main character is named Beth (also my name). And I was so freaked out by the movie, I was certain that would be my fate if I became an oceanographer. So I switched to geologist. Ended up getting a degree in art. lol What's your favorite outdoor environment (fields, mountains, beach, etc)?
Well, probably a beach. I have never been to one, I don't think I'd stay long honestly. Mountains are beautiful though too! Do you work? If so, what is your job?
Paper book. I think I always will. It just feels weird. Since Beauty and the Beast, I kinda dreamed of having a library like that! I don't like just having books on some device. Are you married? If so, when did you and your spouse first meet? And how old were you?
I love answering married questions.. Yes, I'm married. We met in an online chatroom in 2000 when I was 12. We were best friends for the next 13 years via the internet, webcam, and text messages. When I got engaged two years ago, I started realizing I didn't want to marry that man. I was only with him because I had no good reason to leave him, despite the fact that I wasn't happy. I got to talking with my now husband and realized I would regret it the rest of my life if I didn't meet him at least once. So three months later, I moved from Illinois to Virginia to move in with my best friend, and we've been together for two years now, married for six months. Best decision I ever made. What is your favorite hobby, other than writing? (BTW, I also dream of having a library like in Beauty & the Beast!)
Music. I actually have my ukulele right next to my desk so when I'm thinking (procrastinating?) I can play. It was easier to bring upstairs than my piano Which song best expresses your mood, today?
The song From the Morning by Nick Drake expresses my mood today. It is hopeful, artistic, and uplifting What do you want your final thought of this day to be?
Well, my boyfriend moved to go to college....so I guess I want my final thought to be about him, though I always think about him! I haven't heard from him really since he left Saturday. :/ On that note, do you think long distance relationships are hard?
