Hi Everybody. A momentous day indeed for me. I actually had a dream last night that proved to be the inspiration for the conclusion of my novel! I wrote my first draft as far as I could and just stalled on the ending, not sure how to wrap things up. It's been that way since NaNoWriMo so I got to work on refining what I had already written. I just couldn't come up with an ending that meant something and pushed the story further. Glad to say that is no longer the case. Even if I do say so myself, it's a brilliant ending and it leaves the plot wide open for the sequel! It's all I can do to stop myself from blurting it out right here and now, I've restricted myself to just telling you guys about it!! So relieved! So excited! Some exciting writing to be done over the next few days. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That is all. As you were, move along. Nothing to see here. On your way. /doff hat I HAZ A PROUD.
That is great. You should have a great time writing it, now that you know what you know what you want to happen.
Does it end with the whole planet Earth being swallowed by a giant space hamster? 'Cause that would be cool! Congrats!
WTF? How do you know that. FFS...are you stalking me? Have you hacked my account? Did you spill my pint?
Nice! I've only gotten inspiration to write from a dream once, and it was a very empowering feeling. To get inspiration for the ending of a novel must feel so awesome
Do you mind me sharing your thread, Sanjuricus? I was struggling the last 2 weeks over the chapter I'm working on. I just finished it and I'm so pleased with what I did with it. No doubt I'll still have to revise it a bit after tonight's critique group. But I actually feel good bringing it. By golly, I'm catching on to this writing thing!
Excellent!!! I'm struggling with one ending and another beginning so I'll try not to hack into your computer and steal ideas.
Mr? I suppose that makes sense on Ralph's side of the island, but in the US, Gingers are females or dogs and the mirror says I'm older than I used to be but still a far cry from 'a dog'. But thanks for sharing your thread.
