I just watched as the wood ax flew toward my head, I kept my arms crossed and didn't even flinch as it smashed into the wall next to my head. "Are you done?" I asked. I walked to the rack of weapons and picked out a bokken, a wooden katana used for practice and turned around, walking back to Erza, I held it it one hand, my head cocked to the side... she might actually be a bit of a problem... however if she merely relied on brute strength, then I may have the upper hand. I gave the bokken a few test swings... it would be able to kick the crap out of the one at home. I held it with both hands, the tip facing the ground. "Let's begin." I said simply. Erza smirked, happy that her challenger wasn't a whiny little pussy. She snatched her axe out of the wall and turned towards Joe, biting her bottom lip,"Ladies first." She lifted her arms her body bowing forward slightly, as she watched him with excitement staining her features. "Oh no, I insist, I'm sure that bimbos need a little advantage when fighting. Do be sure not to chip a nail." I said, smirking, egging her on. Erza licked her lips a giggle rolling through her throat,"I doubt you'd even be able to chip a single one of my nails, Gay boy. Make sure your boyfriend get's a look at this." She turned to her left darting towards him at a quick speed before slicing towards him in an X like motion aiming for his legs which were more accessible to her then his upper body. She hated the fact that she was short. If she were in her heels she could make more damage but the sneakers did increase her speed so she was happy for that fact. At the last moment I slipped to the side and swatted her butt with the flat of the bokken, and jumped away before she could retaliate. "I'm assuming you call all men gay if they don't automatically kneel and begin licking your stripper heels, not much of an insult though, especially in my case." I said. Erza turned to look at him with rage filling her features,"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT! IF YOU HAVE AN OPENING HIT ME WITH SOME INTENT. DO YOU THINK I CAN'T HANDLE A HIT OR SOMETHING. DON'T TREAT ME LIKE A GIRL, OR ELSE I WON'T GET ANY BETTER ASSHOLE. INSULT ME ALL YOU WANT ABOUT MY SEXUAL PREFERENCES BUT DO NOT PLAY GAMES WITH ME IN A FIGHT." She tried to calm her features, feeling completely and utterly insulted. She stood up her expression becoming serious,"I rarely get respect anywhere else, so if you want to fight like a little bitch I can ask for another problem. You have an opening to hurt me. Then hurt me, got it. Act as if I'm a guy and get your head out of your ass." She ran at him full speed aiming to the left again but this time came at him with quick blows aiming towards his arms, whilst pivoting left and right. A satisfied smile crossed my lips at her reaction. Just what I wanted... she gets more angry, she makes more mistakes. I quickly ran toward her at the last minute, getting on the other side of her, my katana pointed at her legs to trip her as I passed. Erza watched him move and twisted her double bladed axe to stop the blade before it reached her leg. She then hopped onto her other foot and kicked out backwards towards Joe's chest a smile curving her lips,"Oh yeah baby. That's what I've been waiting for." I quickly jumped back, her foot grazing my chest. "Hmph... I merely like playing with my food, be it man or woman, get in my way and I'll beat you into the ground." I said, I smirked. "I especially have no love for bimbos such as yourself." I said smiling, I merely waited for her to strike once more. "BLAH BLAH BLAH! You know the ones who always chat up an opponent like a bitch are usually compensating for something. Shut up and try to hit me. Oh..and just to clear things up. I'm a virgin. Dick." She laughed, actually enjoying herself as her axes turned a light orange and she ran at him at her full speed, one axe going for an upper cut to the head and another aiming for his ribs. I got ready for the attack... when Mr. Haines suddenly got between us. He grabbed the blade of the ax with his bare hand and shattered it just by squeezing it. "...Did you not understand me when I said 'No magic'? Or is it that you can't follow simple directions?" He asked, fixing her with a cold glare. Erza stopped short dropping the axe and giving a confused look. She paused touching her forehead and cheek,"Oh shit. I must have got a bit over exited. I haven't learned how to control my temperature just yet. She looked at the bottom of her shorts and the hem of her shirt which were a bit charred,"My bad Mr. Haines. Joe must have got me all heated up. Hold on!" She paused placing a hand on her nose and speaking softly,"Icicles...Icicles..Snow...Water...Icicles.." She opened her eyes and touched her forehead,"Okay..I think I am cool. You can check if you want." "I honestly don't give a damn what your reason is, you still disobeyed orders, fifty laps, every ten, stop, drop, and give me fifty push ups, and as punishment for your disobedience, you will not be participating in next week's sparring match." He said, a tone of finality in his voice, if she said anything, she was likely going to get a harsher punishment. She paused, looking at him with wide eyes for a second before smiling,"Only fifty. My punishment is well worth a hundred laps and pushups. Hey Joe if I'm late for the group mission, just tell the Teach Hainey's working me...very very hard." She turned on her heels and began running at a quick pace, her hair bouncing behind her as threw the other axe back into the holder and then began to do push-ups as if it were second nature to her. He growled at the lewd joke and pet name. "Make that one hundred fifty and two hundred push ups every five laps!" He called after her, he turned to me and set me up with the other guy who had to share a group.
Cindy walked up to Chrysalis, dressed in a simple sleeveless top and gym shorts. On her feet were some pink colored cloth wrapped bandages to match her hands. She stood with her hands on her hips, her belt holding her book, which seemed to have shrunk. "Well, we can either fight, or risk extra work and not fight." I look towards the ground nervously and give out a sigh. "Well.....It would probably be better if we actually did spar. So I guess we should. Is that alright with you? We could get hurt if we go too far." Cindy nodded. "Let's get on a mat and start. I mostly kickbox with some fencing skills, you?" I nod my head in agreement. "Yes...let us go. Hmm? Well I.....do hand to hand usually." I say making my way over to the mat and getting ready Cindy nodded, bowed briefly, then attacked with a snap kick. I watch Cindy carefully as she bowed. When she quickly threw a kick at me I stepped back and went to grab her leg to try and throw her off balance. Cindy managed to turn it into a feint, and sent another kick Chrys' way, this time aiming for the stomach. Not expecting the feint I take the kick and stumble back clutching my stomach a bit from the pain. "Gah!....." I stop and then take a deep breathe looking towards Cindy with concentration and rush at her dodging to the right to put more force into my left hand's punch as I aim for her stomach as she had done for me. Cindy couldn't completely dodge in time, but managed to only get the wind knocked out of her. Gasping for breath, she staggered a bit, trying to stay balanced. I really need to practice more.... I continue past Cindy and notice her stagger. I didn't think much about what I was doing next as I rushed to go and hit her from behind to try and knock her down. Cindy yelped as Chrysalis hit her again, this time falling to the ground. She quickly scurried back, and jumped up. "Uh, Chrys?" I stepped back away from where Cindy had fallen ready to go at her again when she was up. However my concentration was broken as she had called my name. "H-huh?" I blink in confusion and then cower a bit back from Cindy. "I-I'm sorry I-I should not have hit you...." "No, no, it's fine," Cindy said, attempting to stand. "That's what sparring is for. You okay? You seemed kind of out of it..." She looked at her friend with concern on her face. I stop and just look towards the ground both sad and nervously. "No....I mean yes I'm fine. I was just concentrating is all. I'm fine really." "Interesting," Cindy said, thinking. "You seem to hyper focus when fighting, turning you into a better fighter, but it seems like there would be some weaknesses in that strategy... mind if we try again?" "That was just how I was told to do it....Keep an eye on your opponent and see what they're doing so I know what I should do." I mutter quietly before nodding. "I-If that's what you want to do then okay..." Cindy got into a fighting stance and thought about what she was about to do, briefly wondering if what she was about to do was worth the laps she was gonna get. I get into a ready position myself watching Cindy. Though I notice she seemed to be thinking to herself. "..." I didn't really want to hit her again but she had asked to continue. So I run over towards Cindy aiming a punch towards one of her shoulders. Cindy blocked the attack and sent an uppercut in Chrys' direction. I jut back from the hit whimpering a bit in pain as I rubbed my chin. Cindy grit her teeth, and stopped her assault. "Alright, let's stop here," she said. "This was a bad idea, I shouldn't have forced you into it. You okay?" I look towards Cindy when she says we should stop and nod my head. I didn't really want to fight her anymore anyways. It just felt wrong to hit her since she was my friend. "...Y-yeah I'm fine. Just hurts a little bit." Cindy walked to her bag, and pulled out some ice cream from the inside, and sat down. "Come on, let's watch everyone else beat the crap out of each other," she said, holding up a small tub of ice cream. "I got a lot of flavors here. Enough for everyone. Eventually." I blink a bit confused. "Huh?" I walk over next to Cindy and sit down next to her nodding her head. "Alright..."
The ice cream in the two girls' hands suddenly melted and the popsicle stick erupted into flames as Mr. Haines stood in front of the two. "Who gave you permission to stop sparring and instead eat dessert?" He asked, glaring at the two, his voice low, full of anger. "I don't remember doing so... GET. BACK. TO. WORK!" He shouted, this was perhaps one of the most ludicrous things that he had seen this year. It was one thing to just stop in the middle of an exercise, it was another to stop and then begin eating sweets.
"Excuse me," Cindy snarled back. "I was eating that. And, we have sparred to the point where we need to stop. One of us is in no position to fight the other as is. If you were to stop and ask and see if there was a problem, you would have been better receptive. Instead, you've got to overcompensate for having a three inch dick and bully a couple of girls. Go get your testosterone fix and I'll spar when I'm ready. I see Tam is about finished, I'll spar with him." With that, she crossed her legs, and waited for her next opponent. *meanwhile* "Anger has no use on the battlefield," Noroi stated, his voice calm and collected. He bowed in Edgar's direction, then drew his two swords. Curious to know what he means, but better err on the side of caution. Edgar gave a wide smile,"You cannot believe the relief I feel at hearing that." He took his left hand and placed it behind his back in a fist as he positioned his footing and stepped forward quickly his sword slashing to the left as he pivoted his feet, his back and arm straight, fluid and above all strong. He was determined as a single hair fell forward over his steel rimmed glasses. Noroi blocked with the smaller sword and retaliated with his katana, gauging his opponents strength. He's pretty good... The half dragon followed up his katana swing with a stab from his shorter sword. Edgar pivoted back barely missing the first swing and quickly realized the short sword was coming his way. He pivoted forward towards the blade to catch it between his locked arm where he thrust the handle of his own sword toward Noroi's nose, hopefully making impact. He reverted back quickly a small line of blood forming on his side from the short sword. He continued with the attack, aiming the sword in an upper cut before flicking his arm to perform a swipe to the left of the young mans upper chest. His expression was emotionless, his breath even and calm. Noroi casually dodged the attack, and this time sliced the katana at his opponent's bicep, a feint. His actual move was to use the smaller sword at Edgar's stomach. Edgar met the katana blow for blow whilst keeping his eye on the short sword now thrusting toward his gut. He moved his body to the side barely dodging before continuing his turn and slamming his opposite leg backwards into Noroi's chest. He propelled forward and reshifted back toward Noroi with small yet precise swings that were not to broad or to shallow. His footwork was again severly under control and his form was so strict that his second arm remained poised still held strong at his back. The two boys battled back and forth, neither one giving an inch in their battle. Several students had stopped to watch them fight. Minutes passed as the fake weapons glanced against each other. Edgar took a step back, a few harsh breaths the only evidence that he was in a savage battle. He spoke evenly his danish accent piping into his words,"It seems we are evenly matched." He paused noticing Erza being sent to run laps and frowned. Poor thing couldn't control herself and gets punished for it. His eyes turned back to Noroi just in time to fulfill a block. He frowned,"Should we drop the weapons and switch to fists?" Noroi shook his head. "I'm afraid I'd be at a disadvantage in a fist fight," the half dragon said. Edgar lifted his sword so his arm was lengthwise and pointed at the half dragon. "Swords it is then." He charged his sword moving at a quick pace as he sliced left, right, up by the young boy's head and down by his bollox. He kept his stance slightly croughed and his body sideways as he step and twisted to the left and right. He tried to increase his speed hopeing to get a cut in as he lunged forward hoping to align his sword at the boy's ribs. Noroi ducked, parried, and danced to avoid becoming beaten with the fake swords, eyes narrowed. I've got to end this fast, he thought. Carefully, he sheathed the fake wazikashi, and held his hand in his pocket until the right time. I've only got one shot at this... Edgar pulled back, his eyes watching the young man like a hawk as he pondered his next move. He let out a cold breath as he removed his opposite arm from his back and clenched his fist,"I will not kill my opponent. You are not in control of me. I will win without you." He ran forward towards the young man and ran full force at him, as he raised his blade up to strike he fell forward and slapped his palm on the ground before forcefully kicking the young boy off of his feet then doing a complete 360 degree turn to slam his blade towards his head or at least right beside it. Noroi grinned as the kick connected. Rolling with it, he managed to shift his momentum in the opposite direction. Quickly, his hand flew out and yoinked the sword away from his opponent, twirled, and landed behind Edgar, both swords pointed at his back. "I believe I win." Edgar let the young man take his sword and rolled forward, his bored eyes looking at the already sweat soaked Erza. He turned to Noroi with bored eyes, and gripped the blades snapping them and throwing the broken remains towards Hainey with defiant eyes. He then spoke smoothly,"Good job. I give you the victory, my friend. Perhaps next time we can work with fists as well as swords." He brushed his hands through his thick hair,"You are in our team right. Can you inform the teacher I will be running late. I'm going to be punished, for a bloody girl. Stupid beast." Noroi shrugged. "Yeah, no problem."
I look between Cindy and Mr. Haines in a panic. "C-Cindy we s-shouldn't have been doing this in the first place. Mr. Haines is right.....He didn't tell us to stop sparring after all....I'm sorry ." I say standing up. "I'm terribly sorry sir. I'll take whatever punishment I deserve...."
Haines glared at Cindy. "...You're not sparring next week, and you'll be staying after class today and next week... five hundred laps, every fifty, five hundred sit ups, go." He said, his voice dangerously low... he seemed to be resisting the urge to do something... likely skinning her alive for her insubordination. He turned to Chrysalis. "...No punishment for you, don't let it happen again, just... run laps for the rest of the day." He said sighing as he calmed down. Then some other little shit had to do something stupid as well. He regarded the two broken training weapons with seething anger. "That's. It." He said, he walked over, picked up the broken weapons and then smashed them against both sides of Edgar's head blindingly fast, it felt like two semi trucks had just collided with his head. "You're not sparring next week, you're staying after school every day for a week for detention, and you're going to be giving me two hundred laps, every fifty, two hundred push ups." He said, it was clear that he wanted to do more than just beat him with the broken weapons, but he'd refrain... for now. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Soon the school day was over. I was waiting outside of the Dean's office... which was weirdly at the base of the clock tower, or at least where I believed it was. I watched as other groups were called in one by one to see him. When eventually my group was called in, I got up and walked through the door, not even checking to see if the others were there... I was met with the sight of stairs. "...What the...?" I muttered, I looked up at the spiral staircase that led to, presumably, the top of the clock tower. I began to ascend them in silence. I eventually ended up in front of an intricately carved oak door with a golden plaque engraved with the words 'King Charles Dodgson the Great and Powerful' and under that was a chibi image of the dean wearing a crown, cape, and was making a peace sign and winking. "...Oi vey." I muttered sighing deeply. "Let's get this over with." I muttered and walked into the office. Dodgson was sitting behind his desk, he regarded me with a mischievous grin. "I think we'll just wait until a few others get here, I don't trust your anti-social behavior." He said, I merely shrugged and walked to the corner of the room, glaring at wall. "See, right there!" He said, I rolled my eyes and waited for the others to arrive.
Cindy flounced into the room, having cleared her punishment with ease, all things considered. She didn't look like she was sweating at all, and more like she just came out of a tea party. She easily sat into the chair, and tossed her hair. Tam walked in shortly after, followed by Noroi. Cindy offered two seats on her left, the one on her right saved for Chrysalis. "Afternoon, Mr. Dodgson," Tam said. "I have an idea I'd like to pass by you later."
I would nod my head and proceed to run laps for the rest of the period. ------------------------------------------------------------ Once class was over I had gone and taken a shower before heading to Mr. Dodgson's office. The stairs confused me a bit as I wasn't expecting them. The plaque....Seemed actually kind of cute but it was the most confusing thing about this place. I step through the door looking around a moment seeing everyone inside. "Hello." I say walking over and glancing towards Cindy and the open seat next to her. I step over to sit down.
"Of course, we can talk right after we're finished." He said, he watched as Chrysalis entered and waited for just a few more minutes. He finally looked at the group. "Hm... two are missing, maybe we should wait for just a few... more... seconds." He said, he grinned as the bell above us began to ring four times, each chime deafening, leaving the group's ears ringing. Once it subsided the dean grinned, ignoring the glares that he received from me and anyone else in the group. "Okay, now, where were we? Oh, right. Your assignment. You'll be picked up outside of the school at six o'clock sharp and transported to some ruins outside of town. Your task is to enter the ruins and grab the mirror lying in its depths, you'll be able to identify it due to the markings on it and it should be on a nice little pedestal, so, if that's all, get out." He said smiling cheerfully. I sighed and walked out of the office quickly and descended the stairs. "That was it? Really? Ugh." I muttered to myself, fuming quietly due to the dean's attempt to make us all deaf. How the hell did he even stay in that office day in and day out? That bell would have driven me to madness long ago... oh wait... he is mad.
I covered my ears from the unnecessarily loud bell. Taking a minute to try and readjust myself once it was over. I managed to hear the dean's instructions and frown. "Yes sir...." I say now getting up and walking outside after Joe. The dean just....kind of disturbed me. So I was happy to be out of there.
"Steal a mirror?" Noroi snorted. "Works for me. I'll be heading out. Got some homework to do." With that, he left. Cindy followed after, nodding politely on her way out, and caught up with Chrys. Tam, meanwhile, sat in his chair. "Now, sir, I have an idea for a club..." ----- Cindy caught up to Chrys, grabbing her by the forearm and steering her around. "Ice cream shop is thataway," she said, pointing. "Come along, come along, we need some girl time."
Erza nodded towards the Dean with a nod. She entered the room a few seconds after the Dean started talking with Edgar quietly at her back. She watched the girls head out for ice-cream and tried to act like it didn't bother her. She sighed hitting Joe's shoulder before moving down the hallway towards the parking lot. She pulled out a pair of sunglasses and headed towards Gabriel with the intent of checking out the engine when a soft voice came from behind her,"I can help with that control problem." She turned abruptly to notice a tall nerdy guy with glasses, grey hair and a too up tight expression. She spoke harshly,"My..control...problem." He took a step toward her, his demeanor strict and formal,"Yes. You were punished because you couldn't control your pyromancy. I can help you disengage from your emotions if you want." She pulled away her sunglasses and growled at him,"My emotions. Who the hell do you think you are. You don't even know me." Edgar looked over the girl already thinking that this was a bad idea,"I didn't mean it as an insult. I was trying to offer you an olive branch. If you need help, I can help you. That's all I am offering." Erza crossed her arms,"Oh I get it. You are flirting with me. You want to help me with controlling my emotions so you can get in my pants. I see...Nice. Real nice." Edgar twitched only slightly,"No..I didn't.." Erza spoke up,"I am not some pathetic little girl who needs a guy to help her with her problems. I know what everyone thinks that I'm a useless slut who is in desperate need of reform. Well fuck you! You sick misogynistic..." Edgar took a step forward and yelled at the top of his lungs,"WOULD YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP! God damn it. I was just asking if you wanted help with your fighting. If you weren't such an egotistical asshole, you might actually make a friend. No I don't want to sleep with you, and no I don't think your weak because you're a girl. Actually if you didn't take your head out of your ass long enough to realize how utterly obnoxious you were being you would be able to see that the only thing I was trying to do was be your friend." He took a breath, as Erza stared at him open mouthed, her expression confused and hurt. He brushed his hand through his hair then turned around,"Screw it..Bye." Erza called out a few seconds later and ran up to him,"Wait...No...Edward..wait.." She came around placing her hand out and spoke in a quiet voice,"Look..look..I'm sorry. I don't socialize often, and I know I come off as a bitch. I am just mad that I got in trouble already. If..you wouldn't mind. Ugh..helping me. I would really..really appreciate it." He looked down at the girl with a bored expression,"Give me your hand." She gave a confused expression,"My...what?" He sighed,"Your hand. I want it. Please." She gave him her left hand, which he took and slid between his fingers so there palms were touching. He twitched slightly, looking at her with some disdain,"Good enough. I'll meet you tonight at the pool when we get back from the mission. Bring your suit." He pulled away his hand and took a few steps back,"By the way baby-doll. It's Edgar." Erza clenched her fist, as she watched the weird boy walk in the opposite direction. She continued heading towards her car, wondering why she couldn't get the nerd out of her head, and why she somehow missed his touch.
I stop as I was pulled back a bit by Cindy. "U-um Cindy don't we need to make sure we are ready for our mission tonight?....I don't even know what you mean by 'girl time'. We'll be in trouble if we aren't back on time..." I mutter.
Charles leaned back in his chair, already seeming disinterested. "Oh, what is it this time? Please don't let it be something boring and lame like a stamp collector's club... you'd be surprised how many people have pitched that idea... THREE! Three people." He said, his face twisted in disgust. "Nothing so dull," Tam said, chuckling, setting a manila folder on the desk. "You see, I want to create a club where beautiful young men and women with too much time on their hands are entertained by young men who also have too much time on their hands. Where they can relax and have fulfilling fantasies with the darling men of their choice. You see, I want to create a Host Club!" "...Eh?" Charles asked, he perked up, picked up the manila folder and looked through it... he set it down. "...Yes... yes! A thousand times yes! And the women that attend shall all wear bikinis!" He said, standing up, his fist clenched, starry eyed. Tam's enthusiasm deflated a bit. "Errr, no, no," he said. "See, the boys will dress up every now and then to fit a specific theme. The women and men who come in are too be pampered to their fancy, not the club member's. We'll have different types: the handsome prince, the cool and collected, the bad boy, the strong and silent, the gay couple, and the boy lolita, each specifically chosen to cater to the ladies interest." Charles pouted. "Man... no one ever agrees to the bikinis." He muttered looking to the side. "...Fiiiine, may as well have the students doing something that is actually productive and interesting!" He said. "I'll set you up with a room in the mortal's section of the school, of course we can't have humans running around in our section of the school, you can have as much funding as you possibly need!" He said grinning. He hit the intercom on his desk. "Peggy, please come in here!" He said, all they heard on the other side was an exasperated sigh. A few minutes later Peggy walked into the room. "I'm sure you remember Ms. Reynolds, she'll take care of anything that you need." He said. She looked at the two confused and then sighed. "What is this for?" She asked. "Because if it's anything like the incident with the chimera..." She began. "Oh no such thing! This fine young boy wishes to create a club that I fully endorse! Read! Read!" He said eagerly pushing the folder to the other side of the desk. She walked over to the desk, picked up the folder, and skimmed through it, finally shutting it and pinching the bridge of her nose sighing. "...Of course you'd be interested in something like this." She muttered, she turned to Tam. "Fine, just make a list of whatever you'll need for this, but keep it within reason, if it's too extravagant I will refuse it outright." She said. "B-But I said-" Charles began. "We cannot and will not give all of the school's funding to one club." She said, cutting him off, glaring at him coldly. He grumbled quietly and looked away. "Spoil sport." He muttered. She turned back to Tam and handed him the manila folder. "There's an empty room eastern portion of the building on the second floor that will be suitable for your needs, do not damage anything within or else... well it really just makes my job a bit tougher." She said sighing. "My office is the one next to this one, if I'm not in, just drop the list in my drop box and I will get back to you." She said, with that, she turned and left. "Thank you," Tam said as she left, already calculating some of the items he'd need. They'd be ready after the mission. "Have a good evening, Mr. Dodgson." He nodded his head respectfully, and left. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I was leaning against the wall opposite of the door. When Tam came through, I walked up to him. "Tell those other idiots if there are things that they want to bring along, but don't have the room for them, bring them down to the... our first classroom at five o'clock." I said, I was going to say 'The Alchemy Classroom', but I glanced over at a few students in white waiting to go up. "I'm going to go home and get changed out of this damn uniform." I said. Tam paused at Joe's request, but nodded respectively. "Okay, Joe, I will," he said. "Good luck, by the way." "Good luck? For what? Walking home?" I asked annoyed, crossing my arms. Tam chuckled, and walked off, waving his hand. "I'll see you later, Joey." "Weird ass idiot..." I muttered as I walked outside and to my home.
I returned home and went into my bedroom and got out of the uniform, I switched into a plain black t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes, I pulled my trench coat on and retrieved my gloves from my uniform and stuffed them into my pouch. I then looked over at my cheap katana quietly. "Ugh... I'd rather throw that thing into a wood chipper than bring it with me." I muttered, I walked over to it and picked it up. Time to see if my theory was correct. I opened the pouch and began to slide the katana inside. It didn't give me any problems, I let go of it and took my hands out of the pouch, placed them back in, grabbed onto the katana, and then slipped it out with ease. "Well, that confirms my theory, I should be able to store and grab anything that I wish." I thought, I knew when I got back, I'd be waiting a while, so I slipped a few of my books into the pouch. I then walked outside, left Leo inside, and returned to school. I went to the alchemy classroom and unlocked it with my key when I found it locked, walked inside, and sat down in one of the chairs. I reached into my pouch and pulled out the light magic book, I was almost finished with it. I leaned back in the chair and read in silence.
The plane landed on Vancouver International Airport and a young sour-looking man stepped out. “Ugh, how could there have been no flights in over a week? I swear this is the last time I’m using the cheapest airline available” he grumbled to himself. However as he was approaching checkout, he admitted; “Who am I kidding, I’m going to use the same company next time, ‘cause I’m a cheap bastard.” After clearing security Adam Lobe took his first step on Canada and finally allowed himself a smile. “Aah, just like I remember it.”
Cindy merely walked Chryss out briefly where an ice cream man was standing with his wares. "See, we didn't have to go far!" she cheered. "Let's grab something real fast, then get dressed. I'll grab something for Erza as well." --- Noroi had changed into a dark blue outfit, a samurai uniform, strapping his swords to his side. His feet had traditional Japanese sandals with split toed socks. Murmuring a quick prayer, he made his way to the meeting spot. Tam was much more laid back in his attire. Dark blue jeans and a shirt, with a cut that accentuated an almost alien beauty. His shoes were high tops. He also attached his rapier to his side. ----- After getting ice cream with Chryss and delivering extra to Erza, Cindy went to get dressed herself. A mini-dress of silver, glass heels, elegant gloves, and a small choker gave her the look of a warrior princess. She was the first to walk into the room after Joe, to whom she nodded respectfully and opened her book of fairy tales.
I sigh quietly looking towards the ice cream vendor. ".....I suppose if it's that quick. I don't think I have much else appropriate to wear though. I can't wear my uniform though......" I glance at Cindy. "O-oh sorry. Well I guess trying ice cream for the first time will be nice. I heard people in the cafeteria saying it was good. Is it? But it must be really cold though."
Edgar went back to his room to change into a pair of black jeans, a white t-shirt and a slightly filled out grey sweater. He brushed back his "grandpa" locks and made his way to the library. A quick stop to grab a few more books. He had already mowed through his textbooks and was eager to learn more. Especially some tips on helping Erza with that pyromancy issue. When he had a new backpack full of texts he made his way to alchemy where he sat next to Cindy and gave her an impish smile. He opened his mouth about to say something to her when he closed it, feeling almost as if speaking to her would be intrusive to her reading. He turned his head to the window and peered outside. The day was so far looking modest, but something in his gut told him that there was going to be trouble when they set out on this mission. To many strong-willed people was going to be a challenge. They needed a leader. He looked at Cindy then at Joe and then back to his own reflection and blew a piece of hair out of his face. It annoyed him that the rebellious piece escaped his usually well kept demeanor. He smoothed it back, before pulling out a book on Ancient Lore. He decided it was best to do what he usually did. Shut up and act irrelevant. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Erza licked the strawberry ice-cream cone as she headed towards the classroom Cindy said she was in. She quickly changed into a black t-shirt, small jean overalls that were shorts on legs. With a pair of black heeled army boots and her axes strapped to her back, she was set. Her hair was half up in a ponytail and her expression was confident as she walked into the classroom and waved at Cindy. She walked over speaking easily, "OH my god. Cindy! Your outfit is gorgeous. Silver is definitely your colour." She took a lick then waved at Edgar, "Oh...I didn't see you there! Hi Edgar." Edgar raised an eyebrow and waved back, before turning back to his book. She gave Joe a stiff nod, her face scrunching up, "Troll." She turned back to Cindy, "I heard what you said to Hainey and nearly pissed myself."
After I got the ice cream cone with Cindy I quietly ate it on my way to my room. Once inside I tried to think of what I should wear. Finally I decided on a sleeveless pink turtleneck shirt and a brown knee length skirt. I put on a pair of flats that felt comfortable and went out. I decide to go outside to where we were supposed to be picked up instead of the alchemy room. I didn't have anything to drop off there so I thought I would be fine and waited patiently.
I regarded Erza with a cold glare. "Could you be anymore conspicuous, bimbo?" I asked, getting up. I walked to the front of the class and opened up my trunk. "Put your weapons in here, well I guess that only applies to the person who couldn't figure out a simple spell that I'm sure a three year old could have figured out." I said, looking directly at Erza, to drive my point across, I pulled out my katana, and transformed it into a pen and slipped it into my pocket. "For the rest of you, place whatever other gear you want or need in here, if we need it in wherever we're going, I can pull it from my pouch." I said, patting the pouch hidden beneath my trench coat.
Cindy placed her bookmark in, and grinned at Erza. "Thank you," she said. "I might be a tad conspicuous, but, an obvious target is sometimes a good thing." She checked her makeup in a hand mirror. "Besides, if we're caught, I can play, "drunk party girl." That way anyone seeing us will assume I'm gonna be part of a gang bang." She flashed a wicked grin as Tam and Joe came in. Tam immediately shielded his eyes. "I can't see!" he cried. "I'm blinded by such radiance and beauty. Oh, sweet Cinderella, perhaps you'd enchant me with a dance tonight!" Cindy giggled and slapped Tam's hand away. "Save it for your club, Fairy Boy," she chided, her voice straining from holding back laughter.
She laughed at Cindy's comment before Joe spoke like an ass. Edgar stood up and glared at Joe with cold eyes, his palms resting lightly on the desk,"Don't talk to her like that." Erza gave him a soft look and shooed her hands towards him,"Don't defend me Edgar, it would make it seem like I was offended. I prefer my weapons on my back rather then shoved in a pocket with your other useless weapon. But since your being a little...anal... about it." She reached back to pull out her axes and changed them into a pair of black shades. She had been practicing since the meeting and was finally happy that the spell worked to her favor. She slapped them over her eyes and took a small lick of ice-cream. She turned to Tam as Edgar walked up to place his long sword in the trunk,"Oh Hiya Tam? is it. A club? Sounds like fun! Are you looking for new members?" Edgar shoved his hands in his pocket and sat at the edge of a table, his body rigid and his expression pensive.
I sighed. "Screw whatever club he's planning on making, I know you all don't like me, and I assure you that I don't like you either, but we're meeting up here to get everything that we need for the task that madman is sending us on, if there's something that you want to take with you that you think will be useful, for the mission, then place it in the box, no cosmetics or god knows what else you want to just bring with you for the hell of it." I said, when I said 'cosmetics', I glared at Erza.
Erza was about to retort when Edgar spoke up, "Enough of that. We are a team and we need to work together to find this mirror. Regardless of personal issues the mission comes first. So stop acting like children and show some maturity." He picked out a few books and placed them in the trunk,"Inner feuding is what the dean expects. Let's proove we are better then that." Erza glared at Joe before turning to Edgar,"Just keep it away from me and we should be fine." Edgar sighed, shaking his head.
