    thanks Cogtio, i asked a teacher yesturday actually and they expaned it for me. i now am meant to know one or two french ones :p

    I prefer the way I explained it to my classes.
    Idioms - words that are sometimes used in English that don't mean what they should.
    Which I subsequently shorten down to "These don't make sense"

    They're language skills aren't the best so I have to keep it simple.

    my French teacher told us that if we use one or two or them then we will get higher marks. we are gunna start our French coursework soon, the frist peice being on Holiday seasons and festivals. i am dreading it.

    This is is what I see when I'm on WF. I don't like all those avatars and signatures in forums, they distract me. And the older format is easier on the eyes for me!

    So thats why I dont have a sig or avatar. :p
