    Best description you ever heard/read

Discussion in 'General Writing' started by w176, Mar 4, 2011.

Quote the best description you ever heard or read. If it long use a spoiler tag.

The best one I ever heard was a friend describing a online acquaintance:

"Oh. You recognize him if you see him. He looks like a cross between Wolverine and a meat ball."

I recognized him the second I spotted him.

    Hi,

From Hitchikers Guide, describing the Vogon destructor fleet,

    - they hovered there in exactly the same way that bricks don't.

    Cheers.

"He had the kind of face only a mother could love. If that mother was blind in one eye, and had that sort of milky film over the other one. But still, he was my identical twin." -Colin Mochrie

Colin Mochrie about Ryan Stiles on Whose Line. Not really a good description of him, but I still think it's genius.
