Book: Meat by Joseph D'Lacey (wasn't published this year, but it was the best of my reads this year, so I'm having it).
    Film: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Album: I'm With You by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (it took a while to grow on me, but now I love it).

Book: The Windup Girl (2010, admittedly, but the only 2011 book I've read this year was A Dance With Dragons, which was OK but not in the same league as some of the other stuff I've read).

Film: I'll pass on this one. I've only been to the cinema twice all year.

Album: Foo Fighters - Wasting Light

Book: The Pale King. The only 2011 book I've read I guess but it is great.
    Film: Another Year, Mike Leigh.

Sporting achievement: Thomas Voeckler in the Tour de France.

Album for me would be 21 by Adele. Yeah, everyone says that, but for a reason -- it's damn good.
