No, The Host is a completely different novel from the Twilight series. It's a sci-fi novel that is pretty freakin' awesome, in my opinion :] However, Stephenie Meyer is coming up with a book called "Midnight Sun" that is Edward's view of Twilight. She said that at around 300 pages into writing the book, she was not even half-way through (because Edward tends to overthink things, and it's in first-person).
