I am on about my 7th novel (unpublished). The first 3 were awful. I've been getting better. I may be able to salvage at least 2 along with this new one. The salvage job is next on my list of things to do. Right now I am about 60,000 words into "the best one I've ever written." I have a university degree in writing (creative non-fiction). I've published a few magazine articles. Hope this means I am a published writer because that is what I checked off. Oh, I might also say that I am a little worried that my characters will not be taken seriously.
