I want to be an advertiser. My dream is to like work for a big company and make really successful advertising campaigns for products.
I'm currently doing an English degree - I want to be a Journalist or columnist ah-la Christopher Hitchens, or Jeremy Clarkson. I did want to be a pilot when I was younger; but then I noticed they were always getting killed in action movies. I also have an interest in philosophy and filmmaking, and might pursue something within these two fields whenever I can get the opportunity.
@Hidden, being a librarian would be awesome too!!! I would give anything (or nearly anything) to be a songwriter, if only i had the ability. Very jealous of Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr's abilities to write songs. And yet so BEAUTIFUL..... love the music.
i'd love to be able to compose the music to go with my song lyrics... and i wish i knew how to use watercolor and oils, as i have the soul of an artist, but not the training... i'd also love to be a sculptor, as i can 'feel' myself bringing wood and stone to life...
My hubby is a pilot...hopefully that doesn't happen to him! I thought so. Plus when people are describing me to someone who has never seen me before, they tend to say things like "she looks like a librarian," so...I figured that might as well be what I go into.
Haha yes, Joel is a helicopter pilot. Pretty much the coolest career ever, if you don't mind getting into a ridiculous amount of debt to get your license and then get the hours you need in order to actually get a piloting job.
Ok, I'm wondering how on earth my post about going to the cinema ended up in here?! I thought it'd been deleted from the happy post, HAH. I must've gotten confuseeed. SO yeah, careers....w00t.
I want to be an architect. To me, the idea of turning a concept that's purely your own into a towering, material structure is just incredible. But I'm dead serious when I say that I'm also interested in working with the FBI; that's not just some impulsive idea from watching too many detective movies.
I wish I knew. I literally feel like I'm wasting my life every time I walk into my place of employ these days. Sucks the life right out of me, I swear. Being a responsible adult sucks.
I would love to be able to be on TV for something or other. Like have a Colbert Report/Conan/Daily Show/Late Late Show type thing.
I'm probably gonna end up with some nine-to-five office job, because that's just how it goes, but I'd kinda like to be a teacher at some school for deaf kids. Or at least some kind of TA, 'cause I'm not really smart enough to be teaching anyone. Sign language just looks so cool, y'know? I'm hoping to take a class when I get to college, but college is expensive, so I wanna be able to put it to use somehow. Although, I'd be cool with an office job, too. No one likes working in offices, but there are a butt-load of offices that need people to work in them, so it must be kinda important, right?
