My wife just got a 'Pregnant' result on a home test! We won't know for-sure for-sure until a doctor confirms things, but I'm about 90% sure I'm a father-to-be! I've never been this excited/terrified ever in my life. I have no idea how we are going to afford a kid, but then again, no one ever does and things tend to work out fine. Woot! also AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Congrats!! Thats so exciting!! Though I also get the terrified part Still, thats fantastic and you'll figure everything out, I'm sure
Congrats Kyle. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll work everything out Just remember to breathe, heh. That's the most important thing
Hey great news LordKyleOfEarth It is always overwhelming at first but you'll get used to it. Congratulations to you and your wife!!
Holy guacamole, Kyle!! Congratulations on your new role in life! And thank you for sharing your big news with all of us; I am so excited for you. Are you going to find out what the sex is any time soon, or will you choose to wait? And it looks like (s)he'll be a late-August or September baby... Virgos are the best! A very happy holiday gift to you and your wife, I'm sure. Congratulations; I hope you keep us in on the important updates. So happy for you!
I will keep yall posted for sure, Merc. No idea on gender yet; the little spec is only ~3-4 weeks old at the moment.
don't panic... i had 7 [the first 5 of which i couldn't afford] and survived! congratulations to you both!... feel free to email me with any questions/worries/whatever along the way... love and hugs, maia
Congratz and good luck. I'd give advice, but I'm 16 so.. I don't have any. Except maybe invest in ear plugs if you want any sleep.
Had the first sonogram today; I'm twice as excited and twice as terrified now. Well, maybe four times as excited and two times as terrified. Yep count those blips-- I'm having twins!
Awe Jelly Beans! I love babies. Probably why I became a breastfeeding councilor. And the lactation aspect and working with moms and their babies is what pushed me into medicine. Clinicals, here I come. Seriously, it will work out. I also nannied twins, both with special needs. Me, children, and parents have all survived! No go fetch her some ice cream and pickles! Congratulations papa!

actually, it's your wife who's 'having' the twins ;-) [yes, i know what you meant, just teasing a tad] double my prior congrats!... better start practicing diapering and all that stuff, 'cause she'll need all the help she can get, juggling two at a time...
Congrats on the twins! I have two cousins that had twins their first times (in their early 20's I might add). They all turned out just fine, and they are as cute as can be. I see no reasons for your situation to be any different.
