    Changing a post title

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by zerobytes, Nov 15, 2006.

Is there any way to change the name of a thread? I know that in the advanced setup you can change the title that shows in the open post, but I was wondering if there was any way to change the text that shows under the thread listings? For example, after I posted this thread I remembered - duh zb - you're looking for the thread name, not the post title.

Actually, I've been wondering about that too. Also, is there any way to delete posts? I currently have a couple of short story threads that I'm finished with.

Usually, I think a moderator or an Admin needs to do it.

For them, it's very simple. From the forum display of threads, all you have to do is double click on the box around the title without clicking on the text itself.

Then, edit the title, and you're done.

As a user, you may want to try editing the first post, and changing the post title. I think that changes the thread title as well.

To be honest I'm not quite sure if users can do it. However, if it's serious just PM me or a moderator and we'll change it, no problem.

Peter - if you or anyone needs a thread related to your writing deleted, PM me.
