Changing the title of my Thread ?

How do I change the title of my thread to show I have added a chapter or something ?

You unfortunately can't. You must have a moderator do it.

 

That is right, if you wish to alter the title of a thread, you must contact one of the moderators. Cogito, Banzai, Kit, ILTBY, and Raven. I think that is all there is.....

 

Which thread, and what do you want it changing to?

 

Generally, you should name your thread to the title of the overall work, leaving out things like "Chapter 1". Then append new chapters, or revisions of earlier chapters, to the end of the thread.

Starting a new thread for a new chapter is strongly discouraged, and the mods will usually merge the threads on sight.

That way, all the related pieces remain together, and both you and the reviewers can more easily follow the progress of the write/review/revise process.
