I feel like I need to give my female character more love so here's a quick one with her in it too (don't have any by herself as of yet cause I haven't wrote any scenes with just her in them -taking it one character at a time! :superwhew:)

While not blood related. Sky is like a sister to Ivy. Hence why I had them both drawn by the same artist.

    Presenting Sky, Warrior Mode.

If it helps the framing, my avatar picture is right after she first met the Alpha, hence clothing to big for her. This is years later, clothing special created for her. She is now a high class warrior for the villains and like 5x stronger than she was back then. They quite possible is no fiercer warrior than Sky.

This is the main character in one of the projects I'm currently working on, drawn by artist Sandra Lanz.

The hero and villain from a new urban fantasy project I'm working too hard on (and I'm not a fantasy guy...). Really happy with how the artist rendered my fallen Valkyries.

Beacuse I studied art at college I already had an idea of what my main Characters would look like, I would have drawn them myself but didn't have the abilities I was after but I did have the idea of what they should all look like and what pose they should be in, I commissioned someone on Devient Art.
I believe a good character drawing, even if it's on the front cover, helps with the story! I love seeing what the author's ideas are, that's why I spent a long time deciding on looks and poses!
    From left to right:
Main Character: Jack Stark, Madaline Lefude, Solen White and Coroline Cookie

Michael Levesque, Starlit Goldstone, James Lemon and Maisy Lefude

The artist also drew me the Academy they all go to:

I also made these crowns which are a big part of my plot:

I like it, I trained in art and love to see art in stories, it's the best way to show the reader what your thinking!
I would love to see more detail on the armour and some colours :)

I do concept art for fun; doing everything myself ensures that none of the original vision is lost.
Here's some characters I drew for a science-fiction webcomic project I'm working on.

This is my MC. I don't think there's enough affluent old men in fiction (as the main character).

Oh wow! I would love to be able to create my own works, I'm more of a hands on sculpting artist!
That's amazing work, did you do it on PS?
Also, do you take commissions :)

    Photoshop cs6, standard chalk brush.
I do take commissions for DA points, but you forum guys seem pretty cool, so I'm fine with doing a couple of concept designs/illustrations for free.

Bloody hell, I've only just came across this thread and it is gorgeous! I am intensely jealous right now that I can't draw. Everything on here is so beautiful it makes me want to cry! I can only just about get people looking like people never mind work photoshop and other drawing programs!!! I'm just so mad I didn't find this thread sooner.

There's thousands of resources on the internet for learning how to draw. Heck, I was drawing stick figures two years ago. The trick to learning art fast is to treat it as a branch of mathematics rather than abstract expression.

She has been modified, but this is the anti-hero protagonist from Hell's Gate (5)

Since you did a group shot. Here is one. Except it is kind of, random people cropped next to each other.

Not a character, but a "prototype" that I wanted to share.

I put it on a toy tiger because my camera is has such low resolution (I believe that's the correct word) that you wouldn't be able to see it much on any object in my room due to color.

Wow! I love the details in the clothing, all the rips and torn parts and blood from scrapes and scratches..and possible bullets!?
Also the eyes draw me in, I love the colours!

Reupload because of image difficulties in original post.

Not a character, but the very first, rough draft that I wanted to share. It's my main character's weapon. He'll have one in both hands. Slice the humans, stab the beasts :).

I still have to test out the mechanics of it and make a life-size one for that.

Oh, here is a true picture of a team. My villains. :) Team Alptraumkatze 1.jpg

This artist doesn't do guys as well. So, notable to say, the guy is the sae one from the previous picture, just in nice clothing this time.
