Ok this is something to help everyone with developing characters for stories’ or even if you like comics. I have decided to do a series so you can create a character of a certain theme. And hopefully adapt that character. Your task here is to develop a villain. The Villain could be from present day or the future the past/Fantasy. You need to describe his name. appearance attitude specialty age hair colour if any male/female height Then you need a description about him. why is he a villain is it by choice or that life has dealt the character a raw deal you will need a biography of your character and obviously you'll need a time line of character lives in. what are his goals. what does he wear usually and does he use weapons if so why does he use those weapons. and the character's characteristics
James Lee Parmentier, age 31, born in High Bluff, TN, currently working as a deisel mechanic at a truck stop near Porter, PA. He has thinning red hair and is clean shaven. He stands 5'7" tall, has a weak chin, brown eyes, a shapless nose, thin lips, and is prone to acne. He has a thin build apart from a bit of a gut, and doesn't talk much because to hide a slight stutter, especially when he is nervous. His father ran off when he was 9 years old, leaving him with his mother (who was a beast in her own right, but that;s a whole other character). He has never been popular, and has always been treated as a failure. Every 6 to 8 weeks, he takes sick time, and disappears for several days (and has also been fired for thyat reason, so he stays on the move. During these absences, he cruises the highwys, and picks his victrims, women travelling alone. He sabotages their cars so they break down on the highway, then shows up in his pickup truck with a towing bar and a magnetic auto repair sign on the doors. He takes them to secluded areas, tortures them over a period of a day or so, then conceals the bodies and the vehicles where they are not found for days or even weeks.
Hazel Melichie has dyed pink hair, she's 5 feet 2 inches and 210 lbs. She has amazing eyes if only anyone would ever look at her face. Most people are more interested in the fact that she's chunky and clumsy. She used to shy away from people but as she got to highschool she realized it's much more fun to give people a taste of their own medicine. She is 17 and mad at the world for laughing at her all the time. She is extremely sarcastic and has a bit of sense of humor, even if it is at her own expense. She wears a pink spandex leotard. Pink's her favorite color. She uses it to stick out and be flashy. She doesn't care if she gets negative attention. Any attention is good attention. Her weapon is a 60lb. canned ham. She clobbers thin people over the head with it. She lives with her mother and her 2 siters, who are popular and thin and she secretly wishes she can be just like them. Her sisters tease her and moo at her when they see her in the halls at school. They are twins and are a year younger than her. She hates all thin people and wants to rid the world of all the beautiful people.
At 5ft 7, Alexandra was taller than a lot of other females who she met and she loved it. Her hair tumbled down her back in dishwater blonde curls that bounced around her shoulders. She has aged well over the last 35 years, slight crease around her bright blue eyes being the only telltale of her age. She spent her days wearing knee length skirts that fluttered as she walked and cute little jumpers, always wishing to look professional yet stylish. In her handbag she always carries a small 3inch blade with her, which was something she had received from her grandfather many years ago. From time to time she found the blade misplaced, lodged in someone’s ribcage or slicing their throat. Her extensive travels to many different countries left her with a lot of exotic trinkets and finely made swords from all over the globe, aswell as a knowledge of over 7 different languages. Alexandra was unsure as to why she liked killing so much, but she did. A thirst for blood and the thrill inspired her with her writing and by the age of 30 had several best0selling novels on shelves all over the world. The feel of her sword piercing another person’s heart, and the sensation of the power she had over them delighted her immensely. She wishes one day to write an autobiography and show the world what she is really like, the person they love so much, revealed as a serial killer.
His name for most of the story is Lucifer (cliche i know) but he was born with the name Setherin. He was a refugee in a warbetween angels and humans, he was on the loosing side. Most of the angels (his race) were given shelter at a place called Haven. Setherin was on his way there with his little brother who he was extreemly fond and protective of. they were split up on the way to Haven. and the main character (his brother Taebriel) believed him dead from then on. he and his brother were born to be the avatars of the gods Chaos and Order who were playing an age old game to decide who would control the earth. To bend Setherin to his cause Chaos implanted a shard of his soul inside of Setherin. Setherin then takes the name of Lucifer and using powers given to him by the god changes his apearence and continues on to Haven. His destiny is to kill Taebriel or vice versa but he constantly finds ways to put it off. he spends years at Haven, manipulating the angels there until he achives a certain amount of power. Due to the shard of Chaos inside of him Lucifer is extreemly unbalanced. he experiences emotions randomly and could be a benevolent leader at one point then evil dictator the next, all depending upon his twisting nature. He manages to hold most of it in, away from public eye but he tends to have outbursts of joy or anger. The old Setherin side of him is still alive deep inside of him and stops him from killing Taebriel. he watches Taebriel grow up, finding ways to put off killing the boy. when finaly he can put it off no more he engages a clumsy assassin to kill Taebriel. the boy realises what is going to happen and flees Haven. His journey is not relevant to this description so i'm going to omit it. The Setherin side of his personality is a constant anoyance to him as he usualy manages to find ways to unconsiously foil his own plans to kill Taebriel. Sorry if that was a bit long
elusive, that's one of the funniest and most creative things I've read in many a day. I think Hazel must be one of those villains you secretly cheer for. I'd love to know that she prevails in the end (and maybe surrenders her canned ham and makes peace with the thin people of the world.)
Thanks Ivy. When I wrote that character I knew in my head she was destined to make peace with herself and the thin people.
Kether Malakh, (47), his brow is covered by unkempt blond hair, he stands at near five and a half feet. He dresses in an outfit of a tight leather tunic over a flowing cloth robe, all white and trimmed in black. From his belt hangs a thick piece of cloth with the phrase "Hard and Narrow is the way that leads out and to the light" embroidered in gold and written in basani [uh, it's hard to describe, but I've been told it looks something like a cross between arabic, japanese, and hebrew]. Often he'll carry with him a mace-sword with the words "Glory" and "Light" carved on each side. Bags hang under his eyes. Sleep and an appetite are things that elude him. He wants to renew the world, but to do so will bring about death. Death to end deaths, he can understand the concept, but still it haunts him. In his twenties he was in the Vanaheim Army, fighting against the country of Utgard, which had assassinated the Vanir king. Five years later it was found that the country of Alfheim had sent the assassin, and they had assassinated an Utgardian leader as well. The war changed and the sides shifted, it eventually it went global. After five years of watching everyone he had ever know die because of a lie, he deserted the army. At the end of the war Kether started bringing together a group of equally disillusioned individuals, and not only from Vanaheim. The six founding members ate six of seven seeds from the Sephiroth, a tree of the Gods. Each of them were gifted with amazing abilities. Kether could control light. Bend it, pull it together and create hard light substances. Increase it or decrease it. He hides his emotions from everyone. He feels he has to be strict to keep his plans on track. He's not the kind of villian who kills people for disobedience or the inability to complete a difficult task. He's strict, but understanding. He has strained relationships with the other Sephiroth. If the heroes don't kill him, the stress will. He knows what he's doing is wrong, and even knows there may be other ways, but he also feels that what needs to be done must be done. The ends justify the means, innocents be damned. The innocent will no longer suffer in a renewed world. And yet still, even when the order is carried out by others, the blood of the innocent is still on his hands. He's not even fit to live in the society he wishes to create. Some one must do the dirty jobs though, and for the sake of others it must be Kether, or so he feels. damn.. I really need to grasp the concept of "short summary". Emphisis on the "short"
I really liked it, who cares if it's a bit olong. Man that guy sounds like one heck of an almost-villan. Kinda wishing he was the hero instead.
Jospeph Fletcher, age 28, works as a nurse in the local hospital. He has short dark brown hair, a thin face, and is clean shaven. Just shy of six feet tall, he has long thin arms and legs, and delicate fingers. When out of uniform he wears long coats, usually black. Jo is charismatic and charming, a facade to hide his enslavement to 'Jack'. Jack is a renegade AI, a leftover from a recent war with a neighbouring country, originally tasked with disrupting the infrastructure of the city in which Jo lives. He was inserted into Jo's biological memory via his onboard internet connection in one of the last, desperate net-attacks in the war, which ended with an uneasy truce. Within Jospeh's perceptions, Jack takes a form very similar to Joseph's and constantly urges Jo to spread panic and dischord. With these goals in mind, Joseph contaminates as many pieces of equipment and patients as possible with a slow acting, highly contagious virus known as FRS. FRS causes hallucinations and violent behaviour, and is spread through fluids.
Your villan sounds like a complete whacko, but that's what they're for aye? Oh and also... i'm not sure if it's just an everyday villain method for killing people, because i've seen it before (on TV). It was in an episode of the something or other, about a psichic woman who works for the FBI. cant remeber the name at the moment but the villan goes and does the same thing as you've written then kidnapps the women and takes them back to his basement where he preforms his 'works of art' with a scalpel... Just so you'd know. I'm not sure if it's a common theme or someone just snatched the idea from under your feet...
I've never watched Wolf Creek, Heather. Milamber, is the show you were thinking of Medium? And yes, there are a lo of pschopathic serial killers in books, movies, and TV. I'm not sure I would actually write a story around one. But it was fun putting together such a character, and not making him a carbon copy of Jared.
omg it is sick. do not watch it. lol. And I love writing about psychopathic killers, they are the best
Samuel Segura. Age: 36 His deep chestnut colored hair is mottled and kept in a low pony tail. He is never seen without a baseball cap atop his head, he holds his gaze low so there is a constant shadow on his face. He wears long sleeved shirts at all times, he does not believe in showing much skin to anyone except for his wife (when she behaves). He wears faded blue jeans that have duct taped holes on the knees and on the butt pockets. He hates nature and sunlight; your typical pessimist. While he may loathe the outdoors he has a habit of being around flora and fauna, unwillingly. His wife is a year younger, and he only married her because he can control her habits. She is a small and shy woman who listens to every word he says, she also has a small fortune that she keeps hidden from Samuel. While he does not have a mental disorder, he is a slow learner. He speech is well thought out and never careless, he never stutters or slurs his words. He likes to accuse his wife of cheating, though he knows she would be more likely to eat tree bark than do so. By accusing her of cheating, he feels he is given a reason to beat her and taunt her. His goals in life are to find a comrade that can help him commit a spotless murder. He wants to end the life of his incompetent wife and inherit what money she has.
Aledrone Age: 22 His short black hair caked in blood. His eyes bloodshot, to many drugs, and have dark circles underneath. He has blood underneath his fingers from ripping the flesh of his victims. Those silver eyes watching you like the wolf he is. Aledrone tends to be quiet only keeping his most inner sicker thoughts locked up. He stalks his victims making sure they feel fright. And when he finally catches them he puts them through many test. Drugging them and making sure they don't have a will of their own. All Aledrone may seem like a brute there is another side of him. The calm talking, the persuasive speech, the never truly dirty look, and the gentle smile. How could anyone go wrong with trusting Aledrone? (I kinda of put it into story format, but that was the only way I could describe him.)
A character for my "Evernight" stories. A bit rough still, but there we go. Name: "Mittens The Kitten" (real name unknown). Often referred to solely as "Mittens". Appearance: Mittens is a large, powerfully built anthro-feline. By the standards of his race he is considered attractive, though most races find him unnerving. His attire is quite typical for a Nightsider; dark, well-worn leathers designed for breaking and entering without undue trouble. Attitude: Mittens is sadistic and unpredictable. He seems to hold no other life in any regard, save for a few exceptions. Most of the people he cares about, he views as tools or "things" to be used, nothing more. Mittens does whatever he wants, typically seeking to undertake risky and potentially profitable ventures. Specialty: Mittens is a consumate thief, a ruthless assassin, and a talented brawler. Having survived Nightside since he was a boy, Mittens survived by killing and stealing, and has become one of the most dangerous criminals in Evernight. Age: Mittens is somewhere in his early thirties, but nobody knows his true age. Fur Colour: Mittens is a tabby anthro-cat. Male/Female: Male. Height: 6'3". Backstory: The city of Evernight lies on the eastern coast of the Midnight Ocean; a mysterious ocean seething with unnatural powers. Shrouded in perpetual twilight, Evernight is a major hub for the vessels that traverse the ocean, and the caravans that brave the Dawn Mountains. Whilst Evernight is a realm of culture and art, its slums and poorer districts, such as Nightside, are havens for pirates, criminals and scumbags of all kinds. Mittens was but a boy when he was abducted from his home, and sailed across the Midnight Ocean. Before he had even reached puberty, the lost child was sold to a rich merchant as a slave, and subjected to many long years of abuse. Starved, beaten and molested, the slave-boy "Mittens" finally snapped, and killed his Master in a fit of violence. Fleeing into the darkness, Mittens fought and killed his way through Nightside, emerging many years later as one of the most powerful and most feared criminals in Evernight. Mittens has no loyalty but to himself. Though he has worked with many criminals, from Crime Lords to two-bit pickpockets, he is part of no gang.
Daniel Zuckerson is about 43, and is a failed scientists. He studies biology, but looks toward changing Dna and RNA into genetically altered men. He has black spiked and short hair, with gray streaked on his sideburns. He wears a face mask typically, and a long white labcoat splattered with blood. He stands about 6'5'' and weighing 195 lbs. He is very wise, but equally insane with his beliefs of creating artificial man. He chose his path in a Hitler-type theme, where he believed that his accomplishments, however bloody and murderous they may be, contributed to the world. He once tried to kill his own son, nearly succeeding, but thwarted. He has taken special interest in Will Greenwood, who visibly displays his abnormal left hand, encased in perpetual flame. Zuckerson started his practice at about 30, by using his apprentice to test his first project, which ended in the victim's own decapitation. Further, Daniel kidnapped men 'who wouldn't be forgotten in society.' His goal is to achieve true cloning, as well as artificial men who have superior strength and wisdom. He carries various syringes, most induce sleep or disorientation, but quite a few contain lethal injection.
Galvin DeMerge. Age 30. Light brown hair. Thick eyebrows. Keen blue eyes. Quiet. He had a twisted past beginning with his brother murdering both parents. He became an orphan and his brother was never heard from again. Then he went to various foster homes and couldn't very well adopt a personality - he struggled with those issues. Finally, when he could no longer take being no one, (15) he found out all he could about a young man named Laurence Vearico. Finally, after discovering this man's whole personality, at age 17 he murdered him and took on his traits.
Sinuos Rains is a revitalized male that had died at the age of 24, but continues to live through the soul of the Master Host, along with the Master Host's wife, Jasmine Rose. He is about 6'1", with mutilated scars across is face and body from countless carnage attacks during the first war of Milvalro. In my story, he his 2,024 years of age. He has white cropped hair with longer spikes in the back that flower upwards toward the sky. His sadistic attitude towards life and serious tone gives him a walk that shows his thoughts. He doesn't like much, and finds deep pleasure in hearing the wails of soldiers. Emotionally hardened. He has one black skeletal wing that cracks when it whips through the air, but gives him perfect balance when in flight. His specialty was marksmanship, strength, and brutal nature. His attitude towards life and the world, especially after being spliced into the souls of a Master Host called the Aurora, and the lover and making him immortal, has driven him mad. The carnage of his youth and the brutality of his fighting makes him driven to destroy. He was born in Nerula, a religious country town that has later been described as a cult. He was a strong believer for several years until he realized all of the hypocrites and liars drove him to kill the majority of the village in spite of what he was taught. He went into the military to escape conviction, where he met the 'Master Host' became friends, and then became intertwined into a ring of events that later drove him to be connected to him forever. To be released is his only goal. He wants to die. He wears black clothing that drapes across most parts of his body, as well as a black cape to hide the laceration across his back where the bony wing comes out of. He uses a sword with a curved hilt.
Joseph is 36 years old, obese and a type-one diabetic. He doesn't take care of himself or eat right, so he reeks of the sickly-sweet rotting smell of an unhealthy diabetic. He has slowly and methodically made his wife more dependant over the years, taking away her financial freedom, her friends, and even alienating her away from her family, while at the same time winning her family's love and confidence. He knows he's backed her into his own corner and when she dares complain he beats her and throws biblical quotes in her face. "A woman must leave her home and family and cleave to her husband" is his personal favorite. He doesn't think of himself as a bad man, he just feels entitled to certain things, and his wife should be meeting those needs willingly, even happily. He doesn't think it's too much to ask that she have the house clean and the dishes done and dinner ready when he comes home from work. And what does she need friends for anyway? He's there, if she wants someone to talk to. He is her husband after all, what could she possibly have to say that she couldn't say to him? There are times when he does hit her, but she makes him so frustrated, he just can't help himself. And at night, when he's looking for some lovin from his wife... Yeah, she says no, but she's just playing hard to get, and she may push against him, but she gives in in the end. And the only reason he has a girlfriend he visits is because his wife is such a lousy lover, just laying there all the time, making him do all the work. She dared to accuse him of raping her once. Well, that kind of talk certainly won't be tolerated in his house, that's for sure!
The description here will be sparse - she's a fully developed character, but spends a fair amount of the story as the antagonist or villain. The protagonist cannot see, so there isn't any physical description of her appearance. I like her, actually; she's convinced the MC is a murderer who should be grateful they haven't killed him, so she may be a bit of a Knight Templar but she's also somewhat sympathetic. Title (used as a name): trainer She tends to stay in the background, out of arm's reach of the MC, except in situations where he obviously cannot move to either harm her or defend himself. She's frighteningly astute at knowning when he is planning to argue and when he's willing to go along with the situation, and must be quite strong, although he isn't sure how large she is. He imagines her to be one of those tall, thin, muscular female-bodybuilder types (she is athletic, but not very tall in real life). She acts older and smarter than him, but he can't trust his judgement there, and knows it; the Organization she works for has him outsmarted at every turn, and it could be that she's just following orders. He has no idea how many contingencies they've planned for, but he hasn't yet come across a situation that unnerved her - not even when the place was evacuated and all the alarms went off. He does know a few things about her general habits. She doesn't wear long sleeved clothing; she isn't sadistic; she isn't obviously insane. She isn't a creature of habit, although she's trying to make him one - and he and she know that her attempts are working, which he hates but is dumbfounded as to how to combat this. He also notes that she has no fear of blood; she's hurt him enough that he knows that. She regards him as some kind of criminal, although he's not sure why. He's not even sure what country she's from. She speaks English with an accent that he can't place, and only listens to his requests if he uses the same language. She becomes quickly annoyed with any speech not in English, and muzzles him when he tries to reason with her in Cantonese or French. But he's heard her conversing in French, briefly, with an unknown male... so she might understand more than she lets on. Stuff I as the author know: she's working with a deeply underground organization that provides servants for criminals. It's more reasonable than it sounds.
Yth ves Gurehim has short, straight, raven colored hair and a smooth, pale face that seems drained of all emotion but sadness. His silver eyes glow with a distant radiance. Every feature of his seems bland, as if it has had all distinction taken from it. He is young, but he has seen much. He wears a black, leather outfit that seemlessly covers his entire body up to his neck, though it does not look like it would provide much protection. A red eye is tattooed on his clothing over his heart. He is the Prince of Entarys, son of Gurehim, the God of Death. Yth is the God of Shadow, a title he neither wants, nor believes is accurate. He sees himself as a man, a powerful magic user, but still just a man. He was once in love, but had his love taken away by his father, who thought that it was below a God to love a human. His sister, Zyvn, turned his hurt into hatred and anger, and Yth directed these feelings, not just towards Gurehim, but towards the whole human race, for they worshipped Gurehim, and Gurehim was truly just a human himself, at least in the eyes of Yth. Yth does not know how to control or deal with the emotions he feels, and seeks to destroy the world and be left alone. He has no specific weapon, but instead channels the dark ether that exists all around us into whatever form he desires.
Louis Pierson; 6 feet tall, he has white hair and is unshaven. He seems harmless at first, especially to little six year old girls (many think he is Santa Clause). He likes them blond. His friends don't know about him and he seems so good with children many of them let him babysit their grandchildren. If the children he babysits aren't his preference he uses them to meet little blond girls, if they are he lets them in on a secret but makes them promise not to tell. He often lamments not having had children of his own since this method is so bothersome. Every christmas he plays Santa Clause for a local mall, he meets some of his victims there. He is thinking about moving, there aren't many new girls here.
