Name: Timothy Dinson Age: 20 Occupation: vampire hunter * Name: Kimberly Dinson Age: 20 Occupation: vampire hunter Twin siblings who have been in Europe training with gypsies to become vampire hunters. Only twins born on a Saturday can be hunters. They have the ability to tell a vampire from a human. They have returned to help Valerie prevent her transformation.* They are of mixed race(African American/white). Kimber is friends with Valerie from long ago.* Also Kimber has become a very stronger central character in the story. Tim on the other hand, though vital for the story, fails to otherwise stick out. I do know he does not get along with another of my characters, Rik, becasue he is racist(not ridiculously racist but enough to cause tension among the group). Timeline: 1960's in a small town/city I will accept questions for Kimber but I mostly need to develop Tim. Thank you.* *
Questions for Tim: -- Are there any events in your past that caused you to have a negative perception of people of other races (or a specific race, whichever is the case)? -- Does this have anything to do with your motivation for being a vamp hunter? -- What if your twin sister Kimber got in a racially mixed relationship with a guy? -- What's your favorite thing to do with Kimber when you guys hang out, aside from vampire hunting? --- Which of Kimber's habits get on your nerves? -- What gets on your nerves when done by other people? -- What qualities are most important in a good best friend? -- What about in a lover? -- What would cause the biggest conflict with EACH of the people in your vampire hunting group?
Hello everyone I could use some help with my character. My problem with this character is that I don't seem to have as good grasp of him as I thought I did. I reached the 20K mark in my story, and as I read through what I had written, I noticed he was kind of contradictory, but not in the interesting kind of way. The bad this-doesn't-really-make-sense kind of way. His name is Dylan McInnes and he is sixteen years old. When he was three years old, the city he lived in basically blew up. Of all the people living there, only 82 children between the ages of nine months and four years survived. Dylan was one of them. As these children grow up, they all begin to notice they have superpowers. Dylan's power is the ability to manipulate electricity. After the death of his parents, he was moved to his aunt in NY, but after a few years she was deemed unfit to be a guardian and he was sent into foster care. When he's ten years old, he meets Nate and Nate's younger sister Lila (who has a secret crush on Dylan) in a foster home. Even though Nate moves back in with his mother soon, the two of them become very close and considers themselves brothers. Dylan and Nate has an illegal hobby, breaking into abandoned buildings (and a closed amusement park on one occasion). They also have no qualms about stealing from these abandoned buildings, though there is rarely anything worth stealing. Both of them have also had a few run-ins with the police (drug possession and violence mainly). At the moment in my story, he has just recently begun learning how to control his powers and has met the first other person with powers, a girl who can manipulate water (and who will most likely become the romantic interest. For the very fist time I'm writing without a plan, so we'll see how things goes). They met as they were both being chased by a military organization who wants to take all 82 children and use them for their powers. They decide to find more people with powers to be able to fight off the military organization. Now for the stuff I need some help with. As I said, he seems kind of contradictory. Sometimes he's shy and sweet, and then he punches some guy in the face for no real reason. So I guess my problem is finding a way to make his struggle between being a good guy and bad guy believable. I want him to be morally ambiguous, but right now it just seems weird. And just some general development would probably help too. So a little help, if anyone can, is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Questions for Dylan, 1. Do you have any pet peeves? Are they're things/ situations that you find extremely annoying? Or people in general? 2. Someone you know well is habitually, continually late, does things to compromise your work, and tends to rely on you to do the lion share of work all while stating how great a friend to you they are. While you get nothing from the situation... How do you handle this person? Or do you ?
Dylan: 1. Do you remember your time with your aunt? If so, do you miss her, or were you relieved to be taken from her? Why/why not? 2. What drew you to Nate and Lila? Is it tough making friends in foster care? How often do you see Nate, and how do you keep in touch? 3. Does Nate know about your power? If you were breaking into an abandoned factory, and Nate (or, if the answer to previous question was yes, substitue a friend or associate who doesn't know about your power) was trapped on a production line, about to suffer a serious injury, with the only way to stop it the manifestation of your power, would you use it? 4. How did your power first manifest? Was anyone around? What did they think? 5. Something goes horribly wrong in an electro/water power experiment, and the love interest is in critical condition. Does Dylan take her to a hospital, knowing it puts her in grave danger of detection from the military organisation? If not, what does he do? Very broad and general questions to finish off... From his history, it would seem Dylan might struggle getting close to people. Is this true? What does he remember of the attack, and of the other traumas of his childhood? How does he cope with everything that's happened? What does he think about the government specifically, and humanity in general? Why is he fighting- to attain personal freedom, or does he believe it the right thing to do? One vitally important member of the crew has to die in order for the rest to escape some trap the military organisation has set- you can imagine the specific details as you will- and Dylan is the one making the choice of who it is- himself, water girl, Nate, or Lila. Does he pick himself, or someone else? If not himself, who, why, and how does he justify his decision to himself and the others?
Any questions for Kimber? Also I have a character, Joanna, who is an anicent vampire in the story. She's supossed to be netural bordering on the not-sure-we-should-completely-trust-her-but-we-have-no-choice side. I need help finding out why she went netrual instead of being the normal kill happy vampire she once was. I thought it was just because she's lived so long but that doesn't feel right.
Joanna - - Have you had any experience that turned you against fellow vampires? If so, what happened? - Likewise, but with being turned against humans, and if so why - Anything to cause you to feel you have an alliance with humans? Or with vampires, aside from being one? What draws vampires together? - Any bonding experiences with the characters on the human team?
Questions for Joanna: -Are there any alternative motives for helping those that would otherwise have no choice? -What benefits are there to being neutral? What are some cons to the position? -What have you experienced within your life that has adjusted your views of whom you thought of as your enemies, or rather those who were originally your allies? -Has the lust to kill gone away over the years, or would you still willingly gut somebody dumb enough to anger you?
-I found I had a unique talent after reaching an advanced age. If someone, typically human, is willing to give up a talent, I can take it for myself. I was greedy in my young days, and used it many times. This caused jealousy among the other, younger vampires. I can't be sure but I am the oldest vampire I know. It has taken some skill to make it this long but I do grow weary of this world. -I've always viewed humans as food, so i've been against humans from the start. I'm just not going to slaughter humans unless they have offeneded me. -I get along with humans on a purely selfish level. They are always full of useful talent. Vampires usually group together for protection. Vampires are not rare but uncommon. They can sense when one is near, or when one is transforming. This helps the transformation be less tramatic. -I helped bring Valerie into this world. That is why I had stayed nearby. I knew one day she would need my guidance. I've been her surrogute mother. But I had been out of town(never feed in the town you live) so I wasn't there when her transformation took hold. -Selfish reason of course. There is always something I can get from someone. The last person I helped granted me their first born, since I cannot bare any children. But that was long ago... -I keep hunters off my back if I stay low key, which is rather easy when you're neutral. I can also live amoung humans fairly easy. A con though is once I'm uncovered by a human, all hell breaks loose. -Amoung the vampires, it was the fact that they would hunt me down because I had a gift. Amoung humans, it was when I decided to raise a human for the fun of it. Beacuse of that, I don't harm the desendants of my daughter but other humans, well their just fodder. -Definatly no lust, but I probably wouldnt think twice if someone pissed me off. Just after seeing everything nearly possible, it's not easy to anger me.
So, I'm working on changing my Antagonist for my story but I need to develop this character more so that I twist the story and make him the real bad guy at the end. The problem is he was always such a back character and just filler that I haven't really put much thought into him. Jake Cooper is a 52 year old business man. He owns and operates Cooper Ranch. The Ranch itself consists of 660 sq miles of terrain that has been fenced off only a matter of feet from the Texas Mexico border. The ranch is a legacy meaning it has been in the Cooper family for generations. Since Jake's take over the Ranch has seen some rough times. This is primarily due to the escalation of drug trafficking and illegal immigration along the border. The ranch is in debt and in serious financial trouble. Personally Jake Cooper has fathered only one legitimate child, Amelia. His wife died when the girl was 10 of cancer. Jake is a controlling man, he raised Amelia as a ranch hand or business partner more than a daughter. He is also an alcoholic, pouring himself into bottles of scotch as he drains them. He would do anything to keep his Ranch, his baby, safe because he doesn't know any other life.
-Is Jake willing to allow his land to be used for drug sales/transit, even if it poses a risk to his and Amelia's safety? -How aware is Amelia of the financial situation? If he involves himself with unsavoury interests, turning his fortunes around, how will he explain the sudden windfall to her? - Who does Jake blame for the difficulties the ranch is facing? Is he bitter? How have his failures reshaped him and his outlook on the ranch? - Jake does deal with drug smugglers. Amelia becomes romantically involved with one. What does he do? - Jake does deal with drug smugglers. Something goes wrong, and the FBI fingers him. As insurance to keep him quiet, the smugglers abduct Amelia. What does he do?
-Is Jake willing to allow his land to be used for drug sales/transit, even if it poses a risk to his and Amelia's safety? “I’d do anything I had ta ensure there was a farm left. It ain’t illegal if you don’t get caught.” -How aware is Amelia of the financial situation? If he involves himself with unsavoury interests, turning his fortunes around, how will he explain the sudden windfall to her? “I might now have a college education, but by god I worked this damn hard so that Amy would. That don’t mean I’m stupid though, I take what I get in small spades. Saving back bit by bit till this stupid drug wars is over.” - Who does Jake blame for the difficulties the ranch is facing? Is he bitter? How have his failures reshaped him and his outlook on the ranch? “Blame? Hell no, that’s just the way running hide is. How many super rich Cattlemen have you met these days? Any? No. They’re ain’t none. We’re a dying breed and ain’t nobody gotten rich offa beef in the last hun’erd years.” - Jake does deal with drug smugglers. Amelia becomes romantically involved with one. What does he do? “I’d shoot the no good S.O.B where he stood.” - Jake does deal with drug smugglers. Something goes wrong, and the FBI fingers him. As insurance to keep him quiet, the smugglers abduct Amelia. What does he do? (I’m leaving off the last question because, well for various reasons that I can’t go into. But thank you soo much for all the wonderful questions Agreen.. As always they really helped lots.)
Name: William C. Price Age: 24 Occupation: Coffee Shop- Cashier I've given a few bits of William around in threads. So I just copy and pasted from there onto here. I feel sometimes I grow to hate William because of his crudeness. He's turned all his "angst" inwards. And instead is bitter and angry. He's upset because there was no one. He turned most of his depression into strength. A strength that pushes people away. All his sadness becomes anger. And he drives it into people like a knife. And he's cold and crude. He doesn't want to get hurt himself. So his sadness became a double edge sword for him. The character in question is kind of roguish, indifferent attitude several times in the story he pretends to not hear other characters speaking. He doesn't take much care of his own appearance "you could be more handsome if you straightened up that tie and tucked in your shirt". He's kind of crude and rude "make a decision already fat Betty cause the ****ing line is waiting on you" The character starts off very much flawed. Parts of his past begin to creep up and situations begin to change him "to a point" not that he's coming out from being a Scrooge to Mr. Roger from the neighborhood show. But as his history is unbound and things about his life are beginning to creep up. People begin to see why he's so closed off, rude, unavailable and indifferent to it all. But at the same time. He's a very very very hard character to get to like and know. In the very beginning he's seen as cold, rude, indifferent, and closed off. And I fear he may be to closed off for audience to continue reading because they can't just seem to get to know to like him.
Question for William C. Price. 1. Does Price have a strong need for something? I mean, what does he want to gain in your story? This may explaiin why he is very crude and anti-social. 2. Is there someone he once loved before that made him angry? If there were no one to begin with, what does Williams want out of someone? Will that cool his anger if he did get who that someone is? Does he have a past relationship between someone he could not stand? Does he want to seek revenge against that person? 3. Does your main character have any sympothy for anyone or anything? What makes him a happy person? Was he always that way when he was younger?
Questions for Will (Can I call you Will?) -- What is something you have a soft spot for? A young neice, or a pet, or a hobby you're really fascinated and passionate about? Is there anything that can make just about anybody smile, because they too can relate to it? -- What's your favorite: 1. Type of music (and name three things about it you like) 2. Place to go with your friends (even if you don't have friends, answer the question: if someone in your family was coming into town and you HAD to take them somewhere, where would you go, and why?) 3. Way to spend your free time: assume no work, no loose ends or errands that must get done etc 4. Top three movies, and WHY do you like them (or books) 5. Best memory from childhood (can be big-picture aspect or one incident) Normally, I think questions like the above are stupid, but I'm asking them for Will because I think you might want to flesh out things to make him more relatable. If on page one, readers can identify with certain aspects of him, they'll be more likely to stick with him, rather than thinking "What a shallow douche." Also, the WHY is more important than the actual one-word answer. Don't just stick down your own favorite music and move on: think about what would best reflect your MC. Try to get into his mindset. -- You're rude to "fat Betty" customer in line at work, and your boss overhears and is not happy. How do you cover, or what goes down? -- How would he react to someone else who is cold, seemingly callous, and pushes people away? Would he notice something that others don't and be able to befriend him despite the hard exterior? -- If something were to cause him to loosen his guards, either voluntarily or not, what would it be? Hope I helped.
He feels sometimes like he's inhuman. That he's slowly eating away. He feels so inhuman and he struggles with the identity of what a person feels like. I think his ultimate goal is to become someone to be human. And I think he wants to clear up this balled up wad of mess that is inside of him. He's confused and his emotions are baffled inside this rubber band like ball. Its confusing and slowly becoming self destructive. William was neglected as a child. One of the very first scenes that opens up his past is that of him as a small child, perhaps maybe only around 7 or 8. He'd always wait at the door and fall asleep there like a dog for someone to come home. The house was always empty, but his room was always filled with stuff. When the door was opened. All he would be hailed with was false apologies and showered with gifts, toys mostly. The man would simply walk to the glass cupboard, get a drink and close the door of his study. Which William waited at. Which in the end got him knocked around since this man never seemed to understand why William was always in the way. William probably doesn't want to seek revenge. All he really wants is for someone to not leave him. He feels kind of alone. That metaphoric doors in his life open and close and people whom he believes are good people end up leaving him. William seems the least angry when he's with the one and only person whom listens to him, Jame. [without an S] Jame is older than William, kind of a mentor and guide to William. Before William was working at the coffee shop he was both evicted from his apartment and sloping downwards financially. He ended up kind of homeless for a while being unemployed and what not. It was only for a few months. Jame looking for employees, whom has a thing for stray cats, rescued William. Jame is the only person whom William won't lash out in anger, but he's still a pain to Jame being very indifferent and sometimes purposely ignoring Jame. William also seems less angry when around children. Right now I don't think William is seeking a love partner. Love isn't the first thing on his mind. Its probably this seeking out who he is an adult in this world. Children. William seems to be protective and caring for children and other small animals. William funny enough was a very shy and quiet child in his childhood, pushed around by both peers and the man [whom I'm not even clear yet if its his father] who was always working. And when did come home was always lying and buying presents in exchange of love. I think William became harder in order for it to hurt less. He sleeps at the door like some animal from about the age of 6/7 to 14. And I think by 14 he kind of gives up and instead has decided to fight back. Becoming harder to protect the hurt and quiet child inside. All though Jame makes William happy. William seems the happiest with Jame's cat. I think its cause William was never hurt by animals. Only people. So he harbors nor ill respects. William is noted to make jokes with Jame sometimes because of how comfortable he feels with Jame. After living in his apartment and working at the coffee store for about three years now. edit- Mmm I guess I guess Fibs. Whatever, dumb cat anyway. 1. *shrugs* Wouldn't know. Don't listen to music. [he's lying] -Classical, cause it doesn't need lyrics to explore itself. And it isn't shallow. -Rock, cause sometimes when you're angry its better to blast that then break the man's nose. -Trance, same answer for classical 2.The coffee house, cause well ya know. It's well whatever. It's better than anywhere else and its where I work so its convenient. But I mean I guess if I had to choose, it be Sandy's Breakfast cause they know how to make my bacon. And its good to get some blackmail leverage on Jame cause he's likes one of the maids there. 3. I guess wandering around at the park. I like the trees and whatever. 4. Don't watch movies. I only one movie and its just some stupid gold seven Bond movie. I guess cause well I guess I want to be classy like that. I mean give it to him the man is kind of well yah know smooth and stuff. Look at the chics he gets. I mean yeah well. Yeah. 5. Eating garbage, no really I'm being serious. Better explain what garbage is. I use to eat stale cereal. But it felt wholesome that way I guess. Don't know what the appeal to it is. But its all I got of a normal home. Use to sit down the stuff bear army and pour them all a bowl of stale cereal. We'd complain it was stale and we'd said we would buy more cereal later. Then we'd go to our fake grocery store. I'd tell him exactly how I felt. The bitch got what she deserved. I hate indecisive people cause they just stand there. Don't go into the line if you aren't ready to order. God, stand aside and let others pass. You're not the queen of the world and everyone should have to wait on you. Learn some respect. In which Jame would probably respond in the manner that I am not the decider of this. But I want to be. I'd make fun of the idiot. Cause I'm an idiot. I don't know why, but I'm always so angry and confused. Even if there was something more to him. Even if there was something inside of him. We're idiots and we gotta laugh at ourselves sometimes. We have this shell up, afraid of who wants to take our pearls. And yet we don't realize we have this shell. We may be aware that the shell is our problem. But the world seems scary when you let go of it. Most likely I'd call him an idiot. A lost child. William is very protective of children. He has let down his guard down before when children are around. He even seems a little more open when children are around. Even handing a little girl a free drink when she lost her mother's money. But what would probably make him break his shell completely is a child lost. Anywhere really. Grocery store or mall. He'd search night and day with that child to get them back to their family.
Having issues with my secondary character Austin "Just Bentley" Bentley. JB is in undercover cop who was assigned to a Gang Unit and put in (what I call) 'blackout', where he was to go so far undercover he had to change everything about him right down to his morals and beliefs. The gang he's assigned to is what the Police thought was a new form of Mafia, but he finds out years after he's established himself that it's more of an underground empire than a gang or mob. His main goal is to become such an asset to the 'Empire' and it's Leader he becomes the Right Hand Man, AKA the 'Enforcer', dealing with any and almost all illegal activity. Usually in the position of Clean-up Guy, but sometimes as the Deed-Doer himself. I'm having trouble staying consistent with him. I keep wanting to switch him back to the fun loving beach bum he was before he went Blackout. Because of this, whenever my MC's encounter him, nothing ever looks convincing enough to have come from him. I struggle with keeping him a Bada$$ pretty much, and I don't know how to maintain his bada$$-ness... Any help would be appreciated!! +
( Consider your favorite movie bums. The best example of this would be Dirk Pit from the Clive Cussler novels. Total beach bum and bad ass. If you need to think of it in terms of movies... Matthew Mcconaughey embodied this character in the movie Sahara. Also, make him believable and consistent in the regard that he's believable as a person. Nobody, no matter how good they are can leave out all of themselves when they're "playing" a part. Which is basically what he's doing.)
Mmmk, well... The character was more of a man's man type of guy, and yet ultra sexy and appealing to women. Kind of like a modern Indiana Jones. If that helps. I would ask you're character questions but honestly I'm not sure that would help in this situation. Then again, aside from doing bad things to do the ultimate right thing how is your character flawed? Questions for JB.. 1. If a family member were taken in by your assigned employer's what would you do? 2. Do you have children? If not pretend that you do, What would you tell them if they some how found out about the things that you've done? 3. Do you sleep well at night? 4. In your struggles as an undercover agent have you become addicted to any substances?
- A crime buddy from the empire invites him to the beach, what goes down? - What about a girl from the empire wanting to sleep with him? - What would happen if they found out he was an undercover cop the whole time? - Ever feel guilty for living a lie? I'll try and come up with more later
Request for questions for one of my own characters. His name is Riper and he's the older brother Tailey, who is the best friend and companion that my MC meets while in her adventures in the alternative universe. The three of them (and maybe 4 or 5 if I decide to throw in future companions along the way) have to go on a journey to track down a wizard who turns out to not be able to help them, so they have to take on the dangerous task themselves (no, it's nothing like a LoTR ripoff, don't worry) to rescue Riper and Tailey's parents and Adalyn (MC)'s great-aunt and great-uncle. The characters' journeys take them through creepy woods (the father into the woods you go, the more alien, bloodthirsty and scary the monsters become), dangerous rivers, caves with ominous things in them, etc. This is when they are traveling to seek help of the wizard, who lives in the middle of nowhere. They took a river trip in small boats on their way there, to avoid the dangers lurking in the forest on land, but the river only slopes downsteam, so their trek to civilization (can't boat upstream against a strong current) is much more treacherous. After they realize they're on their own, they have to go find a way to expose some bad guys for who they really are at the heart of the city, which holds dangers of its own (more like surveillance, spies etc of the main bad guy, instead of just hungry wild monsters). Anyways. So far, Tailey is the street-smart although snappy at times one, and Adalyn is the creative but insecure one who gains more capabilities and strength as the story goes on. I'm not sure what I want Riper's niche to be. He's probably a bit more boisterous and good at stuff like hunting (being a guy) but I also do not want to fall into any annoying gender role stereotypes, or even worse, "what if Adalyn has a crush on him" cheesy drama. I'd also like a subplot conflict for him, aside from the same motivation they all share to rescue their loved ones and demask the bad guys (who most people trust, but they have a bad agenda that very few know about, kind of like the "V" tv series in that regard) Thanks!! (I give rep!)
1. If you were to fall into a trap that your particular skill set couldn't get you out of, and you had to rely on one of your companions to help you, who would it be and why? 2. What is your weapon of choice when hunting? 3. If you had to live in a city, what would you do to support yourself? 4. Do you have any artistic abilities?
1. What's it like being Tailey's older brother? Does she boss you around or do you boss her? 2. Can she be a bit...melodramatic at times? What do you do when she is? Ignore her? 3. Do you think she means well when her actions obviously don't show it? 4. Would you say you were more patient than her? 5. What are her weaknesses? 6. What are your strengths that she doesn't have? 7. Most of all, what do you think about the newcomer, Adalyn? Do you have any suspicions about her?
1- Well if they've gotten a hold of one of my family members, then it's very likely they're already on to me. In which case, I would blow the whistle on the whole operation and hope for the best outcome possible; We get as many Empire members as possible, and my family member survives... Witness protection program... Changing my identity wouldn't be new to me anyways. 2-Lucky me I don't have kids. But if I did? And they found out daddy's a double dealing Cop, murdering and cleaning up for the bad guys because there might be a chance of a "For the greater good" outcome? Pfft If they're anything like me, they'd take it with a grain of salt. If not? Then I'd tell their mother to move them away and change their names. Give the new info to my Leiutenant for if or when I survive this mess. 3-I haven't slept well in about 3 years. The closest I get to decent sleep is passing out drunk on the beach between my surfboard and a bottle of Patron. Which is rare these days. Usually when I manage to sleep, I wake up, gun in hand already out of bed. Sometimes standing in the middle of my livingroom. Otherwise.. No. There is no otherwise... I just don't sleep. 4- "Do what you need to do to get in with them as locktight as possible. We're here when you're through with this mess, we'll bring you back, Austin" is what my superior said right before I was briefed on my new assignment- the one that got me where I am today. So yeah, I dabbled. Enough to be convincing. I guess you could call me a Socializer. I do what everyone else is doing, when they're doing it, but pass whenever a few of them aren't. My drug of choice is alcohol. JB's Flaw? I don't know. Yet. I'm actually not sure I want him to have one.. -Those guys don't do anything that doesn't have a purpose. They go to the movies? They're making a Drop in the back row. Going out to dinner with their families? Business in the back alley. Bowling? Casing someone for a future abduction. Pool? Those aren't real pool balls they're knocking the pockets with. Those are spiked... "Kaboom".... So sure I'd like to go to the beach and beat a wave or two. But them being there? It'd taint it for me. I think I'll pass on that. Wouldn't want to remember a beautiful rose and orange sun setting over my favorite spot on the beach, waves crashing their song against the sand, only to have one of the guys kill the moment with a dead body or a kilo of blow. - The women in this group aren't ones to mess with. If things go south you get the whooolllle f**king family on your back. Mom, Dad, aunts, uncles, and every last cousin between here and Mexico. No joke. And no thanks. But if one of them wants to sleep with me? Tricky. And Dangerous. I say no, she runs to her brothers saying anything she wants and I'm dead. I say yes, and I ever screw up afterwards, I'm dead. Hmm... What's the worst sex you've ever had? Maybe I'd just do that... Be her worst lay ever... It'd ruin my reputation with the women, but that's fine by me. Less drama in my future... - If they found out about me... Depends on who found out. The older ones, and the Leader, Chale, they'd keep me alive only to have me play double agent... Lie to the informers about everything, and erase all existing records we have against them. Pretty much clearing their names and losing all evidence. But the end result would be the same as if one of the younger, newer guys found out. I'd be dead. No questions asked. No last statements. No idea where they'd bury me, if they buried me, or who did the burying. Then even my alias would be dead. I would really be... Dead. - I don't usually have time to feel guilty. When I do, I make myself calm. Real calm. Chale, the Leader, likes to call it my 'dead face', but he thinks it's when I'm feeling the 'calm' before my Storm. If no one were around, and I felt guilty?... Patron, man. I try to drink myself asleep. I'm still feeling as if I'm answering for JB instead of letting JB talk. I know, I know. He's a character and I made him up and why can't I just make him be JB instead of telling him he is JB and arguing with myself over it? Where I'm at in the storyline, he's so secondary... to mention him in it right now, he'd be a shadow in a corner of some obscure somewhere that the MC wouldn't even think to glance at. I'm just trying to get a grip on his personality first before introducing him to the story so that when he does enter it fully, it doesn't set me back at Square One with plot development. I want it to just flow like my MC's Sabby and Warden do. Grr.
