So true! I don't remember being this exhausted when I had my last UTI.

Aw, he won't make dinner for you if you're sick? :(

That's one of the nice things about Joel...he usually makes dinner anyway, but he goes out of his way to be super nice to me when I don't feel good.

In our family we have a schedule.
Momma cooks on Monday and then I cook on Tuesday and then Papa cooks on Wednesday.
Then it goes back to momma's turn then it goes to mine, then papas.
And then on Sundays we go out to eat.

It is hard when one spouse is a vegetarian with food allergies and the other is a carnivore who hates vegetables. He also doesn't really know how to cook. So it falls on me to find something we will both eat and prepare it...or we go out. I don't get paid until Monday...so no going out till then.

That's a pretty sweet system. We tried something like that, but my culinary skills are very limited, and Joel is a picky eater, so usually he either ends up cooking or taking me out to eat.

Sounds like an adventure. :( I hope you can get him to cook for you tonight, though. You need some rest!

There are things you could threaten to withhold from him unless he obeys...

    Okay will do.
My goal is alternative eating resterant anyway.
There is to much in this society of gross food or cheap food.
I want to make an alternative choice for people.
Soy ice cream for those who eat soy and want soy cream or just for those who are lactose.
    Better choices of vegetarian eaters.
Better choices for people who have other issues with food.
Alternative, healthy, and not cheap food.
    That is my goal.

Mina, I will come over and make you some veggie things and smack the hubby, I have a hubby who comes in with greesey boots, walks on freshly steamed cleaned carpets me dusty from head to toe and on foot (other foot is broken) and then asked where is dinner. What are men not able to cook on a stove and oven, can they only know how to use a grill, my gosh I would love for once for him to cook. Sorry about the rant.

That begs the question of how long you can hold your metaphorical breath.

I say not too long, one way or another the "metaphorical breath," will be satified, but hey that is just my opion.
