I'm going in for an ultrasound today to find out for sure what's going on. I went into the hospital at midnight, so they couldn't really do it then.
Your symptoms are the same that I had when I ripped my spleen. (Same location, but it was painful to the point of being unable to stand.)
Mine was almost bad enough to keep me from standing. But they're fairly certain it's the kidneys. There was blood in the urine. The ultrasound will probably help them figure out what's going on. It's most likely an infection.
There was also blood in my urine. Kinda funny. I was so out of it when they asked me to pee in this plastic container, I just whipped it out and did it on command, not caring that there was a bout half a dozen female trainee nurses watching me. I remember thinking "maybe I should have turned around?" a few hours later.
*states the obvious* Blow your nose, a lot. I saw an actual Aston Martin V12 Vantage today, in blood red. I was in awe. The only problem was that it was halfway through my driving lesson.
Pay attention to the road, or you could kiss driving goodbye, I know it is a really sexy car, (machine) but still. Sorry for the pop in, hi everybody. I hope we are doing better today.
Ah..... You have ever had a sinus headache. Statement, not question. Mine are always in my forehead. Can't really blow your forehead.
Saturday fer U? Not fer me. It was the other way 'round last week so I can't begrudge. I have a percocet hidden away in the night-stand. I'm thinking of using it. Translations today may be less than perfect.
Most uncomfortable feeling: having to pee after being forced to fill yourself up with water and being told you have to wait two hours. Ultrasounds are my new least favourite activiy.
Good morning all. Happy Friday. Looks like I walked in on a discussion about sinus infections. Those SUCK!!! It is like you blow your nose and there is immediately fresh snot to take the place of what you just blew out. Your nose is raw from blowing your nose so much. The headache doesn't go away regardless. Then the antibiotics just make super-infection that takes up residence deep in your sinuses and won't come out for 6 months. Then you have surgery. Well, maybe that last part is just my experience. They do totally suck though.
It appears that 'Mina is a long lost member of the Fuentes family (no wonder she's such a looker) Sinus Infections = Fuentes Family Curse
Wow, nice hair. How are things goinging other then people being ill. I can't wait for this day to end.
Cool, seems I most likely kidney stone free. They didn't pick anything up on the ultrasound. It's still possible, but may not be likely. Though, the pain meds they gave me last night are starting to wear off. :s
At least you could take a percocet and stay conscious. My dentist gave me percocet when I got my wisdom teeth out, and I was unconscious for like a week... I hate that! I had to get an ultrasound the end of last year, and I almost canceled it because I was about to pee my pants in the waiting room. Do they have any idea about what might be wrong if it isn't kidney stones?
Chandler: They gave me perscriptions for antibiotics and that's it. Hidden: They say it's probably an infection.
And it's so strange, because nurses are usually my favorite people to translate for. I love them. I have one lady from Kaiser somewhere in Cali who requests me, and I love that she calls me hun and sweetie in that oh-so Florence Jean Castleberry kinda way.
