Wish it was sunny here. Raining something rotten at the moment, making me feel even more grumpy and irritable than I already was.

    Bah.

I wish is was sunny simply because I might not be needed at work today. My supervisor doesn't like me, so I am one she would more likely ask to stay home.

    Morning, all.

I have a lot to do today, so I need to get my daily quota of slacking out of the way early.

Do you typically go to great lengths to ensure yourself extra slacking time?

    Guilty as charged.

In the area of accomplishing something, slacking comes first, then work.

My stomach is upset, so that might help.

    Morning, Mina.

Have you heard of fried Pepsi? Apparently it's the newest craze in fair fare.

You know you're Southern when the idea of frying non fryables does not surprise you. :p

It's basically funnel cake batter with pepsi instead of water. Some places will serve just that with powdered sugar dusted on top. Others will go the extra mile and drizzle Pepsi syrup over the confection, topping it off with whipped cream and a cherry.

I haven't tried it yet. Don't especially want to. But the idea intrigues me.

Fried Oreos, on the other hand, are total win.

I go to the fair every year. I get either a milkshake or a rootbeer float from my church's booth. That is all. I have no desire to eat any deep fried oddities.

Not even a good old-fashioned deep-fried Mars Bar? (Or, as it's better known, a heart attack for 99p).

Deep fried snickers are pretty awesome. I feel pretty miserable after though...

I heard that Malteasers are the latest confectionery for the chippy in Peterhead that started the battered Mars Bar craze have taken to deep-frying. That could be interesting.
