    Hi, all!

Just wondering, has there ever been a writing forums IRC channel, or anything like that? Might be easier?

Nope. And many members don't have IRC clients these days, or prefer not to run extra junk.

Oy! Why do I read these conversations?

Dumb garbage people. They're even blocking access to the places where people can safely and legally dump their garbage.

All that chat prior about the IRC whatever through me for a loop.

Where I work we call our 'centrul hub' the IRC: Interpreter Resource Center.

What is an IRC, anyway? I'm not very tech savvy...

Oh, and Wrey/Cog, I liked your words. Cracked me up.

Its just a live chat kinda thing, so that instead of having a long forum conversation, you have a live chat instead.

    Alright i guess.

Washed/waxed my car and then not 10 mins later a large truck flew past me at a stop light and splashed muddy water all over my car, groceries, interior, and myself.

    That upset me a little...

I am starting to hate unions. I respect what they are for, and usually respect their right to strike, but the current strike in my city is just plain stupid. All it's doing is creating health hazards, making parents scramble for alternatives to city daycares, and preventing hundreds of students from doing their summer jobs.

I have never liked unions. I consider them organized extorttion. And yet, I d recognize their vital role in industrial reform, and there are even occasionally circumstances today in which they help protect workers from Draconian employers.

But mostly, they are self-serving and parasitic.
