Gotcha, Air Force? Awesome, I was a Marine, vets unite. Hoorah! (or whatever you flyboys say) I thought that security clearances were good for like ten years or something? I have one too, I worked on Harriers. (Avionics Technician, 6312 can't remember my ASFAB scote though) Your last point, however, is a good one. I like your job though, I hope you like it:redface:
Oh...well have fun next week then. I'm sorry for calling you a kiddo, I meant no disrespect. Please understand, I've been out of College for about six years, so the guys I used to work with out of high school were kids to me. I understand that you are very mature for your age, I can tell by your attitude, its very grown up. I wont use the term again.
Eh up, people. I can't sleep. It's one of those nights where it's hot and sticky, and it just seems to be impossible to drop off. It's too warm under the covers, and lying on top of them is just uncomfortable. And to add insult to injury, there's a moth trying to clamber across the screen as I type this. It's been flitting about all day and now it's really getting on my nerves.
No, it's fine. I didn't mean to sound disrespectful in turn. I've never interacted on this type of site with such a diversity of people and ages before, so I'm still adjusting to it. I understand that people like to use some terms of endearment, such as "kiddo." But I didn't mean to come across as cross or such. But, thank you, Jonathan. It is much appreciated. :]
Hugs hedgehog, you are adorable... I could tell you my life's story Dante, that's sure to put you to sleep I know how that feels though. Sucks, sorry. I've been told that warm milk works as a knockout though.
Now I'm adorable? Gah, not the image I was shooting for. I'm just kidding, Jonathan. Uh, thank you...?
chilling...(and when I say that I dont mean as the urban saying, but rather as the eerie mood established by your reference to the probable Lugosi rendition of Stoker's vampire)
Totally. Chillin...relaxin...chilaxin. It's what we do. Just got back from the gym and can't really feel my arms. Joel had this awesome plan to go buy chicken as soon as he got home from work so we could cook dinner, eat, and then go over to my parents' house, but he is now playing mafia wars on facebook, so it looks like we will not be having dinner for a while and, consequently, not be going to my parents'. I'm feeling an odd sense of deja vu. It's like this exact thing happened last night... Oh, wait. It did.
well if that is the case can I borrow them? Might help chase the swine flu away, or at least keep it away from my house... >.<
Anyway, today I learned just how much my province loves its booze. This provicial liquor stores threatened to strike, and they had sales totalling 60 million dollars in one day withe everyone stocking up. They don't do that well before New Year's Eve.
The same happened at ours apparently. We had line up that were like two hours long. Or so my mama says.
I doubt they'd ever do that here... alcohol is all this town has going in its favour. Other than Subway!
That total is province-wide, which is still huge. It's basically five dollars for every person in the province, including those who can't drink legally, spent on booze. That doesn't count people who bought some at bars and restaurants.
